Breaking the Imprint

"Your back!" Esme sped over to me and gave me a tight hug. I understood why she was worried, I had disappeared for a a few days.

"Where's Rose?" I asked.

"She's hunting."

"Good. Can I speak to Carlisle?" She nodded and brought me to his office. Where I found him weighing and taking measurements of Renesmee.

"What's going on?" Jacob asked when we came in. He was ready to protect Renesmee. But i ignored him and waited for Carlisle to finish.

"Now is my chance... Please" I begged. "I can't deal with this pain anymore."

"Are you sure?" I just nodded at him.

3rd person.

Lately Lillian hadn't been eating or sleeping well. If you asked asked around, people would say she looked like she's dying. She looks broken. Her eyes are very dark.

Carlisle had Lillian lay down on the table. Where gave her some morphine. Once he reached for her arm and and bit her. Rosalie sped into the room

"Stop!" She shouted, but it was too late, Carlisle bit her.

"You could have told her to wait. I could have encouraged her to change her mind."

"I don't think anything would have changed her mind. Not anymore " Esme explained looking Dow at lily as Rose went to hold on to Lily's hand. "You didn't see the look on her face."

The next day. Esme spent the day m caring for Nessie and feeding Jacob who hadn't left.

Yesterday when they stopped hearing Lily's heart beat, they walked out of the room to leave her there. Honestly they don't even know if she told her pack.
They knew as much as she denied it, they would always be her pack members, they won't leave her. They care to much. But they all new they'd figure it out, they new she was couldn't fight this pain anymore. As they sat in silence eating, they suddenly heard a heart beat.

Rose, Carlisle and Esme sped over to the room Lillian was in. They have no idea what's going on. She didn't have a heartbeat for more than 24 hours. Now she suddenly does.

Lillian's POV:

I was awake but couldn't open my eyes or move. I could feel someone holding my hand. But who?

I felt another hand moving through my hair. That's Rose. She's the only one that does that.

I' was sorry for Rose. I know you wouldn't have let me go through with this, but I couldn't take it anymore. The pain was a reminder that things are going to get worse. I then felt this burning in my throat. It was like if I dry swallowed a pill.

Suddenly I could open my eyes."Take it nice and slow." I hear a voice tell me as I sit up. I look up at them to see a worried face on everyone.

"What?"

"You heart beat had stop for over 24 hours. And a few minutes before you woke up, you heart beat came back."

"What does that mean?....Carlisle. What does it mean?"

"Well you have the red eyes, which indicates that you are a newborn, but you still well the smell of a werewolf. Your still a shape-shifter... you're a hybrid.
The book states that a werewolf can be bitten and changed." Carlisle started.

"But" I knew there was more.

"But we have no prove it worked. As we know see you you're a hybrid. The books doesn't mention anything about being both."

"Wait, did I break the imprint?"

"You did." I turned to see Jacob at the door hanging up the phone. "It was my dad. He said Paul suddenly couldn't feel the connection he has with you. How he doesn't feel the pain. It's as if he never imprinted...lily, you broke the imprint."

"Did you tell them?" I asked

"No, you have to be the one to tell them." I just nodded.

"Can I shower?"

"Of course you can, this is your house."

After I walked out of the shower and went into my room, I could smell what everyone could smell. Werewolves really do stink.

"You still do."

"What?" I turned to see Edward at my door.

"Not as bad as before but you have a new smell. It's actually pleasant. It doesn't bother us." Okay not weird at all. "I'm sorry."

"No it's fine. How's Renesmee?"

"You'll lover her. She's actually half mortal half immortal."

"Really?"

"Yes. Carlisle has been keeping track of things such as her weight and height. We don't know how long we'll have with her." I didn't say anything. I felt really bad for Bella. If Renesmee dies, how would She cope?

"Are you hungry? Carlisle wants to see if you can still eat human food and if you can feed." I nodded. I forgot about the whole blood situation, I was just so worried on breaking the imprint.

"Wait let's try to see if you have our speed." I nodded. "Just relax. I'll meet you down there."

Relax and go. I did it but I tripped on the last step. I heard Emmet laughing down stairs. I quickly got up. I still had another flight of stairs to go down.

"Okay, I got this." I said to myself. I then had an idea. Once I made it down the stairs I sped over to Emmet and picked him up by the throat.

"Please not in the house!" Esme shouted from the kitchen. I let him go and sped to the kitchen.

"Lily, you know the rules." Esme said motherly when I sat down at the island.

"So, to begin. We want to to test this out. Try eating." Emmet and and jasper were looking at the food in disgust.

"Is it really that bad?" I asked them. They just nodded. So I picked up the fork and took a bite. I literally moan at how good the good was. I gave them a thumbs up and continued eating.

"Okay, you already had 5 plates of food. Slow down. We need to test something else." Rose said bringing a styrofoam cup.

"No! No way!" I said backing up from Rose.

"It's animal blood." Oh, thank god. I was really relieved.

"We don't know if you can survive on human food, but I still want to test this out." I nodded at Carlisle. I was worried not because I could lose control but what if I don't like it. I snapped my head towards Edward when he started laughing to himself. Here goes nothing.

"Hmm. It's actually not that bad." I said before drinking more. Who am I kidding this is so good! I taste like-

"Fox." Edward answered. "I thought it might be best to try it with an animal your already familiar with.

"Okay, Lillian. It seems you can survive on both human food and blood. But we still want to stay on the safe side. Your going to hunt with every time we go." I just nodded at Carlisle.

"Wait if I'm a hybrid, does that still leave me as Alpha?"

"How come she hasn't lost control?" Jasper asked Carlisle.

"Jasper, What are you talking about?"

"I mean Renesmee has been in the house the whole time. Not once have you gone..ballistic and tried killing her."

"Oh."

What power should she have?

At first I didn't want to give her a power because she's a hybrid, but I really get the feeling she should. So what power should she have?
