Meeting Steve Harrington (X Reader)

"Booby traps" Erica whispers as the room shakes again "You know what lets just grab that" Robin grabs hold of the tube and Dustin starts pressing buttons on the door.

"Which one do I press Erica?" He questions in a panic, "Just press that damn button nerd" she shouts back "Press open door!!" she starts shouting at Dustin as the two of them fight over the buttons. 

"Just let me try", "would you get out of the way", "just press open door!!" everyone starts arguing over the buttons when suddenly the door slams shut. "Oh no" Robin whispers.

The room starts moving with a rumble, then all of a sudden, the room starts to fall down at a rapid rate "Oh shit" Steve says as he looks around, seeing the speed at which we are falling.

I fall backwards from the jolt into Steve who grabs hold of me "Shit" I say as I stabilise myself on him.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Dustin screams, slamming his hands on every button possible "we're going down! we're going down!" Steve shouts "No shit Harrington!" I scream back at him as we hold onto eachother. 

"Why don't these buttons work!!" Dustin shouts in a panic, still pressing everything. "Just press the button!" Erica runs over to Dustin screaming, now pressing every button with him. "Come on press something, just press the button!!" Steve shouts out as we keep falling at a rapid speed,

The elevator comes to a hold as it crashes to the ground, all of us falling down to the floor at force with boxes flying everywhere. I fall beside Steve who lands under a bunch of heavy boxes "My groin" he groans "it fell on my groin" he cries out forcing me to giggle beside him "Dustin! get this off of me!" he shouts as Dustin runs over, helping him lift some boxes.

"You okay?" He stands up, offering his hand to lift me up to which I take it. "Yea im aright, are you? the groin?" I chuckle while pointing down at him "Yea im sure its fine and works" he smiles causing me to roll my eyes at him. 

"Is everyone okay?" Robin calls out "yea im great now that I know that Russians cant design elevators!!" Steve screams out as he runs back over to the door pushing the buttons again. "Its an electronic lock we need a keyca- holy shit y/n your neck are you okay what landed on you?" Robin and Dustin come walking over...

For a moment im sat, confused what they are talking about and its not until I look over at Steve and remember. I turn and see my scarf in the corner of the elevator and my stomach sinks "Uh, no, im okay" I quickly get up and rush over to pick it up.

"Seriously what happened? that's a huge bruise" Robin follows me over "Nothing im fine", "Y/n" Robin says again "Robin I said im fine!" I snap, causing the room to fall silent. "If she's saying she's fine, she's fine" Steve backs me up.

"We're stuck in here" I rub my face with my hands, letting out a loud sigh. "Just so you nerds know, im supposed to be spending the night at Tinas, and Tine always covers for me, But if im not home tomorrow for uncle jacks party tomorrow, and my mum finds out you three are responsible, she's going to hunt you down, one by one, and slit your throats" Erica shouts at the 4 of us.

"Jeez" I cross my arms in fear "I don't care about Tina or Uncle Jacks party. your mums not gunna be able to find us if we're dead in a Russian elevator" Steve slams on the boxes while shouting "wait we're gunna die" I say in a panic "no we will be fine" Dustin reassures me as I turn to Steve. 

I sit down on the ground with my head between my knees "Im going to die in a Russian elevator with Robin from scoops, Steve Harrington, Lucas' sister and Dustin, Dustin!!" I shout out as panic starts to settle in. "Whats wrong with being stuck with me" Steve sits down beside me as the others walk around thinking of a way out.

"If I die and people hear your name, only you will be remembered, id just be that other girl that was with him" the two of us laugh for a brief moment "stop worrying, we will get out" he places a hand on my shoulder for comfort. 

"We've got company" Robin shouts as she places her ear against the door. We all stand up, preparing ourselves to get out of this tin.

We all sit above the elevator in silence as the Russians open the door and start collection the boxes. Steve leans over, grabbing the green tube from Erica, timing his movements for when the Russians finally leave. Just as they drive out, the door starts closing but Steve has a plan.

He jumps down onto the floor, wedging the green tube between the floor and the door to hold it open for us to escape. "Lets go" he whispers, helping all of us crawl out of the small gap with him crawling out last, just in time as the tube smashes, dissolving parts of the floor beneath it.

I stand out of breath for a moment "Jesus" I lean over placing my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "I was about to say I hope you guys are in good shape, considering..." I look up, we are in the middle of a Russian underground base, it looks like it never ends.

"Come on" Steve pats my back and leads the way, we all follow behind as I catch my breath. 

"If they're building something, why here? I mean Hawkins? of all places we are at best a toilet stop on your way to Disneyland" Robin and Erica walk ahead as me, Dustin and Steve stop back. "You think the Russians know?" Dustin asks "About the whole-" I look at Steve, "So its connected?" Steve says turning to Dustin. 

"I don't know but its possible" Dustin looks at the two of us. "Are the Russians controlling my brother?" I turn to Steve with a scared look across my face "No, I doubt it" I places his hand on my shoulder, rubbing it slightly. "Your brother?" Dustin scrunches his face up. "Billy my twin, he done some weird things and then went missing" I move my scarf over, pointing at my neck quickly. 

"Shit" Dustin whispers "Im sorry is there something you guys would like to share with the class?" Robin shouts causing us to turn.

"Talkie!" Steve and Dustin shout as our talking starts working, with Russian voices coming from it. "They're saying the code" Robin translates "They must be close to us" I say "And we know that this can reach the surface" Dustin smiles "Alright lets go" Steve stands up leading the way again. 

We walk endlessly around the long halls, in hopes of finding something important or at least a way out of here.

"Shit" Steve stumbles as we end up out in the open of the Russian base. We stand, frozen, watching the guards walk around and people at work. "Alright, we're gunna move fast, we're gunna stay low" Steve whispers instructions to us. "Okay" I whisper back as I follow directly behind him.

"Come on" Steve whispers as the door to the comms room is open, allowing us to run inside before it closes. "Thank god" Dustin whispers as we all get in "Shit" Robin says as we turn and see a Russian at the table.

Robin instantly starts talking Russian, trying to get through to him. He wasn't believing her and goes to draw his gun, but Steve of course had other plans.

"AHHHHHH!" he yells while running full speed towards the Russian "Steve!" I call out but at this point, he was already entangled with the guys.

We stand back and watch as Steve fights the guard, throwing and taking hits. He reaches over, grabs a phone and knocks the guard onto the ground unconscious infront of us. "Dude! You did it! You won a fight!" Dustin shouts, causing us to burst out laughing. 

Dustin grabs the key card so we can finally be free, but first Robin spots something up the stairs from us.

"Holy shit" Dustin mumbles as we stand at glass doors, watching a huge machine shoot lasers into what looks like a black hole, I have no idea what it is, I cant even describe it but it does not look good. We all stand in silence watching the machine and the Russians at work "that's not good" Erica whispers.
