"shit, shit" Dustin throws his hands behind his head as I stand sobbing "what do we do" I turn to him in a panic. "We cant let him do this, we gotta jump back in" Dustin turns to me. "Pull yourself together y/n!" he shouts while grabbing my shoulders and shaking me.

"I know you love Steve but god you're so in love with Eddie, hes your person, we need to save him" he shouts in my face. I stop crying and start nodding "okay, okay we have to yea you're right" I wipe my face and take some deep breaths.

Dustin runs, grabs a chair and places it under the gate. "We are gunna have to jump, hold on and fall through, ill go first so I can put the mattress down for you" he stands on the chair in front of me "Dustin" I grab hold of his arm "we can do this" I look into his eyes "damn right we can" he says before jumping up, gripping onto the edge of the gate and falling through.

"Shit" he cries out "Dustin? Dustin are you okay!" I stand on the chair and call up. "Ive busted my ankle, its okay come on" he shouts as I see him move the mattress. I take a deep breath, running towards the chair, jumping up and pulling myself through the gate.

I fall straight through onto the mattress below. "Are you okay?" I quickly ask him as I sit up "im fine come on!" He grabs my hand and we start running side by side. "Eddie!" I scream as we run outside the trailer.

"Eddie!" Dustin shouts as we come to a stop, watching as thousands of bats swarm in a circle. "Is, is he in there" I mumble "shit" Dustin says as the two of us start to sprint towards the whirlwind of bats around Eddie.

"Eddie!" I scream out as we run as fast as possible to get to him. "Dustin come on" I say as he falls behind. "Run ahead" he shouts. I shake my head, unable to leave him behind "come on" I wrap my arm around him and give him support as we run to Eddie.

"no, no Eddie" I let out a high pitch scream as I watch his body fall to the floor, bats flying into him, attacking him for all they can. "Go y/n go!" Dustin shouts. I let go, grabbing hold of my spear I start to sprint towards him.

"no, no, no" I cry out as I get closer. "get away" I scream as I throw my spear around, stabbing bats left, right and centre, watching them fall to the floor one by one. "y/n!" I hear Eddie cry out but I stay focused.

"Come on!!" I scream out when suddenly, all of the bats drop to the floor, dying instantly. I drop my spear and sprint over to Eddie, who lays on the floor lifeless.

"No, no, no Eddie, Eddie baby" I cry out as I lift his head onto my lap. "We need to get you to a hospital" I cry out as Dustin stumbles over. "We need to get him help" I sob over him "you're gunna be fine" Dustin says as we try to lift him up.

"Come on" I cry as we try to lift his lifeless body "I think, I just, I think I just need a second okay?" Eddie whimpers in pain. "Oh my god" tears stream down my face as I sob uncontrollably. I look down at him as his eyes stare up at me, a broken smile on his face "I didnt run away this time, right?" He smiles up at me.

"No, no no no" I cry as I place my hand on the side of his face, rubbing my thumb back and forth across his bloody cheek. He turns his attention to Dustin "You're gunna have to look after those little sheep for me, okay?" he says causing Dustin to sob beside me. "No you're gunna do that yourself" he crys.

"Im actually gunna graduate" he chuckles weakly. "Baby please" I place my forehead on his "I, I think its my year y/l/n" he says quietly.

"I think its finally my year..." I look at him as tears roll down the sides of his face. "I love you y/n, I love you too man" he says to Dustin. "I love you too man" Dustin grips onto his hand. "I love you Eddie, so much, I always have and I always will, I.. I forgive you, I forgive you for everything I love you, you're the love of my life so I need you, please Eddie" I sob, sob, and sob some more.

"Im sorry" he chokes "Eddie" I sob as I kiss his forehead, but he goes quiet "No, no" Dustin moves beside me. "Eddie" I shake his body "Eddie!" I wail as I shake his body harder. "Oh my god" Dustin cries next to me. "My love, oh my god my everything" I scream out as I pull him up to my chest, holding him tight. "Eddie please... please" I cry and turn to Dustin "Eddie" Dustin cries out as he squeezes his hand...

Just like that, I lost the love of my life, my everything, my soul mate. He died being a hero, he died because he didnt want to run away. Eddie, you will always, forever, have my heart. I forgive you, I forgive you for everything you ever done, I would do anything to have you back by my side for the rest of my life.

"Y/n" Steve stands at my bedroom door. I look up at him just as my eyes tear up. Max, Vecna, he got her, both her legs are broken, as well as her arms, shes blind she cant see, shes currently in a coma and theres no clue to whether she is going to wake up.

"Its time to go see Max" he walks in and takes hold of my hand. "Come on" he says gently, helping me up from my bed and to the car.  Im broken, thats probably far from what I am right now, my twin brother, gone, my soul mate, gone, my sister? I dont even know. 

"Max" I mumble as I sit at her bedside with Steve next to me. "You need to wake up okay, for me" I hold onto her cold fingers. "I love you, I need you here with me because if you go... I dont think I can go on in this life" Steve places his hand on my shoulder, gently rubbing it as I sob.

"Pull through, if not for yourself then for me, for Lucas, for mum..." I wipe my eyes. "We all love you and want you back" I push her hair from her face, placing a kiss on her forehead before turning to Steve.

"Come here" He pulls me into his chest as I continue to sob. "Im so sorry" he chokes up while rubbing my back. 

"We will get through this, shes going to wake up, we are going to save Hawkins, for Eddie, for Max" he says as he places both hands on my face.

"Y/n, we will get our future" he places his forehead on mine "Yea, we will have those kids and travel around in an RV" I say between my broken breaths "Yea?" he smiles "of course" I move my hand on top of his, pulling it down from my face and holding it tight "I love you" he says.
