Ghost and Rooster

Wednesday is here. And everyone heads to the hangar at 8:00. Maverick says "good morning! Aviators! Today will be a more complex dogfighting course. The teams will be Phoenix and Bob, payback and Fanboy, hangman and Ghost."

 Y/n says "captain, Rooster is always my wingman" he says "not today he isn't" she says "sir, we're twice as good when we're together" he says "drop it Ghost, he's on the other team. You need to learn to work with other people." She says "yes sir" and looks over at Rooster. He continues to talk about todays plan. 

He adds " i'm going to pair you up with somebody, it will be just the two of you up there dogfighting. The first pair is Ghost and Rooster. Good luck"

They all head to their planes and get ready. Payback and Fanboy had to do the 200 pushups today. Y/n says "Roo, are you ready?"

 He says "not at all, I don't want to do this, not one bit" and y/n laughs and says "well, rules are rules. I'm going to beat you Bradshaw" and smirks.
He says "we'll see about that" and smirks. He adds "Ghost, where are you?"

She says "I've been here the whole time" while smirking and goes inverted. He says "holy-" y/n says "yeah rooster, I'm that good" and laughs.

 he says "I KNOW you're that good" and laughs it takes about 30 for y/n to finally shoot Rooster down. He says "you've got to be kidding me!!"

She says "you good Rooster?" And laughs. He says "I'm good, good job Ghost" and smiles. They land the aircraft and Maverick says "good job sweetheart" she says "thanks dad" and smiles. They all walk off and Rooster says "are you doing anything tonight?" 

She says "nope, just going home, why?" He says "do you want to hang out? I mean... we don't have to, it's just...-" she says "of course I want to hang out with you Rooster" and smiles. They arrive at her house and he says "oh wow, this is nice!"

 She says "thanks, it's Pennys old place and she let me use it" he says "what do you want to do? Watch a movie, talk, play board games, it's up to you" she smiles and says "all of it" while cheesing it up. He says "you... you want to do all of it?" She says "yeah! Why not?" He says "I mean... yeah why not!"

She goes and grabs some Root Beer for her and Rooster. They start off playing Monopoly which y/n wins, then they play twister with also y/n wins, they play phase 10 and Rooster wins. He says "finally, I won something!" And y/n laughs. He looks at her and says "what are you laughing at?" With this face 🤨.

She says " oh nothing" and smirks.
He then picks her up and puts her on the couch ticking her to death. She's screaming "ROOSTER!! OH TOOSTER YOURE.... PLEASE.... STOPPPP" while laughing her face off. He says "oh no, that's for making me loose those games!" 

She says "ROO... ROOSTER!! S... S... STOPPP.... I... I CANT... BREATHE!!" And continues laughing. He says "okay okay, I'll stop" and stops tickling her. She says "thank you" severely out of breath. He says "anything for you darling. Wanna watch a movie?" She says "yes!! The notebook pleassseeeee!!!" 

He says "The Notebook it is!" And puts it on. They sit on the couch watching the movie and about and hour and a half in y/n falls asleep snuggled up to Roosters side. He has his arm around her and says "darling?" He gets no response and says "darling?" And looks down to see that she's fast asleep. He finishes watching the movie and falls asleep himself.

                                                                       -The next day-

He wakes up at 5:30 in the morning and slowly gets up and says "darling?" She starts to stir in her sleep and then wakes up saying "Rooster? What are you do... ohhhhh" he says " you fell asleep. I didn't want to wake you so I stayed"
