The day has come. Y/n and Rooster would be picking their forever home.
They meet up with a realtor and she says "so you're moving here, newlyweds? If so Tennessee is perfect for you! Which house have you decided?" He says "we're about to be, umm darling? We're going with the one we talked about?" She says "yes hun, I'm positive. We choose house number 3. It's not too small for when we start our family but it's also not a mansion" and laughs. She says "congratulations, buying a house isn't easy" and smiles. She adds "are you paying with cash or check?" He says "a check" she says "just a reminder it's $550,000" y/n says " before I full on confirm buying this house, we need to make a price deal. Our budget is $500,000, we work in the Navy." She says "oh that's awesome! How long have you served?" Y/n says " since we were 21. We're now 26." The woman says "wow. How do you not see light for all those months when you're in that boat?" Bradley says "oh no, or not sailors. We are naval aviators, Or you would call it fighter pilots. We were sent to Top Gun and have done very dangerous government missions" the realtor says "that's a very dangerous job!" Y/n says "we know. All we want to do is serve our country. My dad was in the Navy. My fiancé's dad also was in the Navy, but unfortunately he passed in the field" She says "oh I'm so sorry to hear that. My condolences" he says "thank you. It's been years, I was 4 when it happened" she says " was it hard not growing up with a dad?" He says "I...ummmm...it....it-" y/n says " so does $500,000 cut it? Is the house ours?" The woman says "oh yes ma'am it is! You're actually going to get the house for $200,000. Due to y'all's dedication to the military. We appreciate you" he says "oh wow, thank you ma'am" and shakes her hand and writes the check. Y/n says " thank you so so much!"
Rooster hands over the check and the realtor gives her the keys to the house and says "it's all yours! Enjoy" and smiles.
Y/n shouts "WE BOUGHT OUR FIRST HOUSE!!!" He says " there's a lot of firsts that are coming up" and smiles.
They head to the new house and they see their neighbor outside and Rooster says "EXCUSE ME SIR! COULD YOU TAKE A PICTURE FOR ME AND MY WIFE?" The man says "of course!" And walks over. He takes the picture and they are in front of their house with the keys. Y/n calls her father and says "hey dad! We bought our house!" He says "when can I come and see it? Where is it?" She says "it's in Tennessee dad" he says "you're.... You're moving?" She says "yes dad, I'm going to miss y'all" he says "are y'all still going to be pilots?" She says "yes dad, but when we have kids we are going to retire" he says "flying for the navy was your dream" she says "and my main dream was to get married, have kids and live a normal life" he says "I'm proud of you, both of you. Y'all deserve it. Well, me and Penny are going out so I'll take to you later kid, love you" and she says "I love you too dad" and hangs up.
Rooster says "what'd he say?" She says "he's not too happy that we are moving away." He says " understandable, his all and daughter is moving thousands of miles away and probably won't see her that much. It's normal babe" she says "I know but I just wish that I could still see them" he says "I know baby, I understand" and kisses her forehead continuing to admire their new house.
