Ghost and Rooster

Y/n wakes up at 6:00 and makes breakfast for Rooster and right before it's finished she walks up to him and gives him a kiss saying "good morning Babe" he kisses her again and says in his attractive morning voice "good morning baby" y/n says "breakfast is ready" and kisses him again. He says "alright, I'm gonna go brush my teeth first then I'll be out" about 5 minutes later he walks out saying "smells good" she says "thanks Roo" and kisses his cheek. 

They eat breakfast and y/n says "I'll be in the car." And grabs her stuff and heads out the door. She left the door open. Rooster shouts "BABY! YOU LEFT THE DOOR OPEN!" And laughs wholeheartedly. She runs back in still leaving the door open and says "shoot! I forgot to wash the dishes" and washes them real quick" 

Rooster then grabs her hand and says "let's go" and walk out the door shutting it this time. He walks her around and opens her door and she says "awe thank you Roo"
He says "anything for you darling"

Y/n says "Rooster ya big stud" and smirks. He says "that's me honey" and kisses her. She whispers "take me to bed or look me forever" he says "we'll show me the way home honey" and kisses her again. They head to Top Gun and everyone else is already there. Maverick says "aviators! Today we are doing the first training for this mission today. It will be a short day because T 2:00 we will be attending admiral Iceman's funeral.

Y/n says "sir, how much longer do we have for this mission" he says "Two and a half Ghost" she says "what the!?-" Rooster says "we will be fine" and smiles. Maverick says Phoenix and Bob and Rooster and Ghost are going first" Rooster says "are we flying solo?" Maverick says "yes, this is a solo flying mission Rooster" y/n says "are you flying with us sir?" he says "no I am not. I will be observing" they go out and y/n says "gosh dang, this is crazy!" 

Rooster says "this is almost impossible" Phoenix says "you can say that again" and laughs. Rooster and Ghost Miss the target and so does Phoenix and Bob. Maverick says when they get back "we will practice more if that tomorrow. It will be like the real deal tomorrow. Go get ready for this afternoon" and salutes us all and walks out. Rooster says "that is going to be impossible" y/n says "that's my dad though" and laughs. 

A few hours later they arrive at Iceman's funeral. Y/n is teary eyed while remaining in her perfect Navy form. She looks over at her dad and he is on the verge of tears, but then salutes him.
She walks over to her dad after the funeral and hugs her dad tightly while crying. 

He tears up and says "it'll be alright sweetheart" she says "I know... I'm just going to miss him" he says " me too kid me too" Bradley says "do you want to go stay at my moms tonight?" She says "yeah" and hugs him. They head back to Carols house and leave the door open. Carol says "Bradley, you left the door open" he says "oh I'm sorry mom!" And goes to close the door. They all talk for awhile. Carol and y/n make dinner, Roast.
They all eat and talk and laugh.

Around 10:00 they go and get their showers and Rooster and y/n sit on the couch watching Captain America.  After the movie they fall asleep.
