                    -14 weeks later-

Y/n wakes up once again at 7:30 with morning sickness. Bradley has been helping her so much and she is forever grateful for him.

They eat breakfast and start getting ready for her appointment at 9:30.
Bradley says "how are you feeling today babe?" She says "as good as I'm going to feel for a pregnant lady" and laughs.
She adds "I already have a name for both genders." He says "oh, what are they?" She says "if it's a boy, Nick. If it's a girl, Carole" he says "babe, after my parents." And hugs her.
He says "the middle names are Pete and Grace" she says "after my parents" and smiles. He says "yep" and kisses her.
They leave for the appointment at the sonogram place. Once they arrive they check in and wait. The doctor says "it's time ma'am" and they go back.
She gets ready and Dr. Barnes says "alright honey I'm just gonna put this on your stomach so we can see the baby alright?" She says timidly "alright"
Dr. Barnes says "there's no need to be nervous, is this your first child?" She says "yes ma'am" Alexa says "there's no need to call me ma'am sweetheart" y/n says "oh yes there is ma'am, it's apart of my job" and smiles. Alexa, while looking at the sonogram taking pictures, says "oh, what do you do!?" She says "I'm a fighter pilot ma'am" Alexa says "for the Navy! Thank you for your service!" She says "yes ma'am! I'm a lieutenant commander" and smiles. Alexa says "my husband was in the Army, he's retired now" Bradley says "we're also grateful for his service! I'm also a lieutenant commander" Alexa says "y'all both work for the Navy! That's awesome!" Bradley says "her father and my father flew together back in the day" she says "that's awesome!" She says "what's this?" Quietly to herself.
She adds "we need to do a heart check on her every few beats the baby skips two beats. We just want to check it out. Other than that it's perfectly healthy"
Y/n says "what!? But it'll be okay right?" Alexa says "yes the baby will be fine" and smiles.
She goes and grabs the Monitor and puts it on her for about 30 minutes. Alexa says "do you drink ma'am?" Y/n says "no, never. Is it alright!?" Alexa says "yea, it could be something very small due to how little it is. There's nothing to worry about" and smiles
She adds "would you like to know? Or do you want it to be a surprise?" They say in unison "surprise ma'am" Alexa says "well, congratulations mom and dad! Do you have a name picked out yet?" Y/n says "if it's a boy Nickolas Pete Bradshaw, if it's a girl Carole Grace Bradshaw. After our parents" she says "beautiful names! Congratulations again! I'll see you when you reach your 27th week! Take care sweetheart, and take care of her hubby" and smiles. Bradley says "I will ma'am" and smiles.
Y/n calls Penny and she picks up saying "good morning sweetie! How was the appointment!?" Y/n says "it went pretty good! It does have an off best heart. Which means it beats regularly but then skips two beats." Penny says "it's okay though right?" Y/n says "that's what Mrs. Barnes said" Penny says "do you have the gender!?" Y/n says "no, we're going to throw a party next week so all of you are invited so you, Amelia and dad can come up now so y'all can start planning the party. We have a backyard so we could do it there." Penny says "we will book a flight tonight and hopefully be there by tomorrow. We can also get the baby room set up too. Do you want something gender neutral?" Y/n says "no, if it's a girl it's gonna be a pink room" and laughs. Penny says "we'll you take care! We will be there soon as we can! I'll bring Phoenix up too if that's cool" y/n says "yea! That would be perfect!" Penny says "well, we will see y'all shortly! Love you" y/n says "I love you too Penny! Tell dad and Amelia that I love them too!" Penny says "dada right here" and laughs. Maverick shouts over the phone "I love you darling!" Y/n giggles and says "I love you too dad!" And hangs up.
Bradley says "let's go get dinner shall we?" Y/n says "we shall!" He says "dress up, it's a very fancy place" and smirks. She says "okay" and kisses his cheek.
