You grabbed your bat and stumbled your way into a purple labyrinth, it was wide, open, and lacked furnishing. The other thing which decorated it was two small stairs on the side, some red flowers, and a slowly spinning yellow star. You sauntered over, touched it, and felt completely energized! You gave out a sigh of relief; you now had the strength in case a fight occurred.

Walking up the marble stairs, you suddenly bumped into something purple!

"Oomph!" You fell onto your back.

"Oh my-!" A voice came out from above. You looked up and saw a goat lady covering her mouth. "I apologize, young one. I am Toriel, Caretaker of Ruins. Unfortunately, you came at the wrong time; the barrier has just opened. Would you like to come through it?" She asked.

You were unsure of what it was, but you decided sure, why not. She pulled out an odd phone, and a voice emerged from the other side. He had a bored, almost expressionless tone to his voice, but there seemed to be some form of agreement. She swiftly grabbed your hand and the two of you teleported somewhere similar to where you fell. This time there weren't any flowers, but a light emerging from above.

"Child, I need you to find a fish monster with a tank top. She's a fish. Got it?" Toriel said. Sounded odd, you thought, but you listened to what you were told. After looking around a bit, you found her.

"HEY KID, YOU ARE SOOO LUCKY YOU DIDN'T GET HERE YESTERDAY. WE WOULD'VE CAPTURED YOU. BUT HEY, LETS GET YOU OUTTA HERE BEFORE THAT HAPPENS." She was practically yelling, and you told her to quiet down. She rolled her eyes and then spoke in a normal tone.

"Alright punk. I'm Undyne, and you're definitely gonna forget, so let's go you to your family or whoever cares about you. I'm gonna carry you." You opened your mouth, but she continued. "You cannot say no!" She then quickly picked you up and put you onto her shoulders, and you made a small fit, crossing your arms.

"You just point into the direction you wanna go," She said, beginning to walk. As she walked, you caught a glimpse of Flowey's face. He was disappointed.

You started seeing the darkness of the Underground fade away as you saw the numerous trees among the land. Undyne began running down the mountain. You thought you were gonna go flying. Eventually, she slowed down and you noticed she was now standing on a familiar pathway. "Which way are we going, punk?" She said. You pointed to the east and she began running even faster. This time it felt like a Rollercoaster. But after a while, you started seeing your neighborhood, so you told her to stop and she set you down.

"Thanks, Undyne." You said. "No problem kid. I'll be heading back, since it ain't safe for me as of now." She replied, returning to the Mountain. That was a strange series of events, but at least I'm not stuck. You began walking and pondered on what happened in the past few minutes. Flowey, Toriel, and Undyne... they all seemed to be unique, you thought. Maybe you should return sometime. You walked into the neighborhood and someone talked you into the grass. You looked up and saw it was Miles!

"(Y/N)! I'm so glad you actually got out so fast! Was it that small or something?" He said, getting off you and helping you up.

"Well, no they magically-" You were cut off.

Miles hugged you and began sobbing into your shoulder. "I-I'm so glad that they didn't hurt you! I- It's all my f-fault for... making you-"

You hugged him back and interrupted, "It's okay, Miles. Let's never go up there and find a new place to do crazy stuff in. I'll pick us one, alright? I forgive you, buddy." You said.

After a while of comfort and apologies, he finally released the hug, and you did as well. Man, what a story to tell.

You waved goodbye to Miles and walked into your house. Your Mother was sitting in the living room like she always had. "Welcome back, Y/N. Miles told me that you and him were doing something big. And you weren't gonna be back for a while?"

What a friend, you thought. But what if you had died?

"Mom, what happened was we- umm... had to save it for another time. It'll happen in a few years, but I'll make sure to tell you." You were half-lying. You were going to return to that mountain and explore every bit of the Underground, even if it meant death.

She seemed a little shocked. "Oh you children are always up to something." Her eyes lowered back to her usual book. "I like that."

She... what? That was a bit odd coming from your mother, but it also seemed cool.

You walked upstairs into your room and whew, it was tidy for once. You weren't a messy kid, but you did have a lot of stuff in such a good-sized room. You lay on your bed and picked up one of your unused school notebooks to begin writing the events of today. The entire breakdown. Detail by detail. Your handwriting is pretty decent for a kid, too, so you had no trouble using your English skills.

Years began going by quickly. Some good stuff happened and some bad stuff happened, of course. But then, you were cleaning one day and found the journal once more...
