You began walking through the waters. Along the way, you saw trash lined up against the wall. This must be the Junkyard, huh. As you strode on, you realized you were getting hungry, so you looked around and noticed a familiar bag was on top of a cooler.
That's your bag!Peering inside, your items were untouched, surprisingly. You took off your hoodie and ushanka then put it inside, wearing the bag afterward.
You opened the cooler your bag had laid upon and found a few wrapped things with "MTT" stamped on top. Looking back at the You unwrapped it and found a pink, sparkly burger inside. It looks fake, but you decided to give it a shot. Despite it being room temperature and a bit cool, it was really good. You reach in and help yourself to seconds... and thirds. Full, you focus on your route once more and began walking.
That was until you saw two dummies. One was plain and had nothing notable, while a life-sized anime doll with cat ears and two pink ponytails, was glaring right at you. As you came closer and closer, you realized her eyes follow you. You eventually came face to face with her and noticed she was stuck in a pose; one leg up and her hands held as if she was going "Nya!" or "Rawr!" silently. You approached her and decided to make friendship (or peace, at least).
"Hey, you're a cute... doll." You said, not trying to call her a monster to make her glare differ. She kept staring at you, smiling and not reaching. You hugged her to get a reaction out of her, and you heard giggling. Assuming she won't do anything, you walked off.
"Fool! Don't you know what could happen if you hug random strangers?!" Her voice called out. You turned around and she was now facing her body towards you.
"Ah yes, I do. But I'm trying-"
She cut you off, "Trying to die! Don't you think you can be my friend! You don't know how long I've been here trapped and abandoned!" She stopped posing in preparation to attack.
"Now you'll be able to feel my pain!" She flung a knife at you, which you flexibly dodged.
"Stop moving!" She started throwing more at you, which you quickly danced around as she kept trying different attacks, eventually giving up and looking at you angrily. You started approaching her again.
"Oh, you annoying human... go ahead! Try to kill me! You ca-" You hugged her again, attempting to spare her. You heard her mumble a curse, but eventually, she embraced the hug and sighed. A shiny tag was dangling from her skirt, 'MEW MEW KISSY CUTIE' it read in bold letters. Below was an unreadable signature. You let go of the embrace and talk to her.
"So Mew Mew Kissy Cutie, right?" You said.
"OF COURSE THAT'S MY NAME! But leave out the last part, eheh." She snarled but eased up almost instantly. "Your name is Frisk, right?"
You nodded. "Hmph. Well Frisk, I'll make an exception this time and be your friend. I'll be leaving now~." She began skipping away. Never thought I could talk to a bipolar anime life-sized doll.
You made your way out of the Junkyard and into an intersection with many directions. Absorbing the star, something faintly reminds you of Flowey...
I hope the experiment goes well. And I wonder what he has to say...
You stride over to three houses, surprised to see monsters live here rather than Snowdin. You approach the house in the middle on the left and knock on it. A few seconds later, a ghost answers.
"oh hey... i'm napstablook. you a human...?" You nod. "that's cool... come in..." He moves to the side and your head in. The floorboards were a bit damaged and not much was inside, except a fridge, desk, and four books cases on the floor.
"sorry for the lack of furniture... I don't need to rest."
"It's fine. I won't be able to rest anyway." You respond. He hovers over to the floor and lies down.
"sorry, it's a family tradition... come join me...?" He rambled. You nodded and lied across him, wondering why not. After a few seconds of staring into the ceiling, you noticed the world around you has become nothing but stars and the milky way, and Napstablook.
These stars are pretty. But as your mind became foggier, and lost in thought, you just couldn't get Flowey off your mind...
What could he be hiding from me? What really is this experiment...? Why won't he quit the Royal Guard? How much further do you have to go to make it out of the Underground?
...
You're thinking too much...
.....
You got up and Napstablook flew up in sync. "that was nice... if you wanna do that again, just ask..." He said, going to his desk, now toying with some application on his computer.
"I'll be leaving now..." You announced slowly, thought focused on the computer. "bye frisk..."
As you were surprised he knew your name, but you exited, focusing on the route out of Waterfall. That was cool, but technology could exist down here, too. Many minutes later, you came across a giant mountain, which you could see in the distance some orange-sunset-like atmosphere (or sky). Absorbing the star, you walked up towards the mountain and heard a familiar voice speak.
"6 human souls. Surprised you made it this far. You may have gotten pass our assassin, but you won't get past me!" An armored figure, presumably the person speaking to you, plunged in front of you, wielding a spear and now assuming a fighting stance. Could it be Undyne? You have a bit of remembrance from when that day happened; where she took you out of the Underground to return safely.
"Undyne, is that you?" You questioned.
"Yeah, who the hell else would it be? Don't you realize you're going to die here?!" She scoffed.
"You wouldn't kill me, Undyne? Remember when you took me through the barrier and took me home?" You could see a white glowing eye glaring at you for a second, but then it faded as she took her helmet off.
"Ohhhh, you're that little punk I saved! Damn, you grew up so much I couldn't recognize ya!" She lowered her spear to appear less threatening.
"Forget killing you, we're gonna become besties!" You gulped.
"Don't worry, I won't kill you. Tell you what, how about we train here to prove if you're strong enough to beat King Asgore."
You nodded and pulled out your knife, removing the cover and pocketing it. Undyne pulled out another spear, snapped it, and held it to you. "I want you to parry with this,"
You took it with your non-dominant hand.
The practice began. It was boring at first, but eventually, you landed some hits on her and didn't get a scratch on you. She stopped attacking and the spears faded away.
"I think you're able to get past him. Especially with a knife like that." She said.
"Good luck, punk. I'm gonna do some one-on-one training with Papyrus." And with that, Undyne ran off, so you began heading up.
Flowey, Flowey, Flowey... that's all you could think of.
You made your way up and eventually came across what seemed to be Hotland.
You saw stationery with Sans standing behind it. You approached it. "yo, frisk. wanna know something or two?" You nodded.
"you're halfway into the underground. hotland is an obvious, boring name, don't you think? alphys came up with it, and for some reason, everyone likes it. anyway, I have some news for you..."
