Ch. 18- It's time for some TRUTH
How did this happen? That is the question I would like to ask myself in a round of truth. Even though that doesn't make sense because you can't challenge yourself to a round of truth.
This just proves how intoxicated I am getting!
Here I was, sitting on a bar stool in a pair of joggers and a PINK crew-neck, courteously from Ava's closet, surrounded by Cheyanne, Ava, Justin, Ryder, Bridgette, Jackson, Adam, and Holden.
Everyone but, Holden were sitting in chairs in a circle around me but, Holden. Holden was standing up with his arms crossed against his chest in deep thought as I sat in my bar stool sipping from a drink Ava did indeed have waiting for me when I got back. Don't ask me why I've decided to keep drinking. If I wasn't for that fact that I was so nervous about this truth round I probably wouldn't be.
"Are you done contemplating what to ask her? I'm getting bored." Adam said rudely looking up from his phone that he was intensely starring at, while Cheyenne hung onto his arm looking over his shoulder.
I swear I have never seen anyone so desperate.
Holden looked at him irritated but, then nodded and walked over to the bar. He grabbed a bottle of Grey Goose vodka from the top shelf and poured it into a regular sized shot glass.
Wow, I'm shocked the Calleja's even own regular sized shot glasses.
He then walked back to where he was standing and gave it to me.
"Do I have to take this or something?" I asked to anyone that would hopefully answer no.
"It's part of the game. Just take it." Adam added with a coy smile and I looked around to see what anyone else had to say.
I mean this was a joke right?
"It's part of the game." Ava said softly. She was sitting the closest to my right.
"No chaser?" I batted my eyelashes at Holden seductively hoping that he would at least do that. I mean hell he found me attractive enough to hook up with and then take on a date the next day, the least he could do is get me a chaser.
"You're not allowed to have one. Part of the rules." Holden said apologetically and I looked at him like he was crazy.
Who invented these stupid rules anyways?!
"Fine." I mean I was feeling pretty drunk already so hopefully I wouldn't be able to taste it.
I took the shot out of Holden's hand and took it back like a champ. Everyone around me was amazed by how well I took it back.
Well everyone except Ava. That was child's play compared to her.
I handed the shot back to Holden who took it from me impressed and handed it over to Ryder who put it on the bar.
"So before you start the timer are you going to tell me how this works?" I asked and Adam let out loud obnoxious groan.
"It's a truth round. He asks you questions. You answer them truthfully. If you hesitate, we stop the timer and you take a pull of vodka." Adam said like I should have known and my jaw dropped.
"When did the pull of vodka thing come into play?!"
"It's always been in play." Adam snapped and everyone started whispering and complaining about me and Adam arguing.
