13- Blood Thirsty

The hunger in Jahseh's eyes made my breathing hitch as screams were heard loudly beyond the control room door. It wasn't just any hunger at that. Jahseh was blood thirsty. A sick look crossed his face as I watched him kill guards that came into the room.

He looked like a beast that hadn't been fed in years. A beast that had broken out of its chains and was now coming to kill the people that had locked him up there. "Ski get Tank and the others. Meet me, Ruby and Patty on the over look point when you've collected them."

Jahseh ordered Ski motioning for Patty and I to follow. "Got you vro." Ski said before leaving the room with his AK-47 in hand. "Your going to need this." Jahseh spoke turning to me and handing me my own AK.

The gun was almost bigger than me but holding it in my hands brought a smile to my face. "You sure she knows how to work an AK?" Patty said loading up his own. I turned to him with a glare just as three guards burst into the room. Thinking quickly I raised my gun and shot all three of them in the head.

Not missing any of them they all toppled to the floor with loud thuds. "Is that proof enough for you?" Jahseh said with a smirk before kissing my lips gently. "More than enough." Patty responded and soon we were off heading out the door and into the hallway. The hallways were full of people fighting.

Guards against inmates locked in heated battles all around us as we dodged and avoided them shooting down anyone that crossed our paths. My adrenaline was kicking in and I made it my mission to stay clear of any uninvited attention at Jahseh's side.

"X we have to go up this staircase and go all the way up. Randy's office is just up those stairs." Patty spoke making Jahseh nod and motion for us to follow with the tilt of his head. We raced up the steps and to a higher area that over looked the facility.

"Is this the over look point?" I asked as our feet pounded on the concrete flooring. At this Jahseh was the first to answer. "Yes it is. And in this prison is a lab. They've been doing experiment's on one of my men as I've heard. We are here to get them all back." He said making me nod my head.

"X are you sure you want to save him though? I've seen what they've done to him. He's not the same as he was before he's..... Changed." Patty said making Jahseh and I turn our attention towards him. "What do you mean change? Patty what have they done to him?"

Jahseh pressed stepping up to Patty with a glare. "Well it's just as you said. They experimented on him and made him into something that cannot be undone. He's basically a monster." Patty replied backing away from Jahseh. "So you know where Michael is already!?"

"Why did we walk all the way up here if you know where they are keeping him already!" Jahseh growled out. I furrowed my eyebrows having finally hearing the name of this captured person. My breathing hitched and I was aware of the growing urge to faint right then and there as I played the name over in my head.

Michael... Michael....

"Michael. The car is out front and waiting for you." My mother said disgustedly as we stood at the door waiting for him to come. Footsteps soon came following Michael's appearance. He looked at me with so much love as he came over dragging his suitcase along with him.

Once he was in front of me he let go of his suitcase and pulled me into a hug. "I'll be back for you crazy girl." He said as I softly chuckled while the tears came rolling down my face. "You promise?" I sniffed out as he pulled me in impossibly closer to him. "I promise. Take care of mom while I'm gone ok?"

He said as our mother's scoff cut through the air. "Get out of my house Michael! You don't belong here anymore." Mother snapped as we pulled out of the hug. "I will not allow you to corrupt your sister longer. Leave." She added on opening the door motioning for him to leave.

With a sigh Michael put his shoulder length black hair in a ponytail and grabbed his suitcase walking out the door. "I'll see you soon sister." Was the last thing Michael said before leaving the house.

I never saw Michael after that day. It was like he just disappeared without a trace. From what I was told he had gotten himself into something that our mother didn't approve of. This making her kick him out the house which he did quickly.

He promised he would come back to me. But he never did and it damaged me beyond what I found possible. Michael was the only one that I could rely on. He was always there for me when I needed him the most. So when our mother decided to kick him out the house it tore me apart inside.

"Ruby!" Jahseh exclaimed snapping me out of my thoughts. Shaking my head I noticed him and Patty were standing in front of me with concerned looks on their faces. "What?" I asked shifting on my feet slightly. "Are you ok?"

Jahseh asked me tilting his head. "Yea I'm ok. Let's just get this over with." I replied just as footsteps sounded behind us. The three of us whipped around with our guns pointed right as Ski and Tank ran up the stairs. "Woah take it easy you three."

Ski snickered while we lowered our guns. "Have you found the key to the lab?" Tank spoke up next. "I know where it is. Follow me." Patty was next to speak so we all followed him. He lead us to a red door and grabbed the knob turning it.

The door surprisingly gave way and swung open with no struggle allowing us to walk inside. We walked into an office space and began looking around. "Baby are you sure your ok?" Jahseh spoke lowly at my side as we searched.

Should I tell him about Michael? What would Jahseh say if I had told him? I didn't think that he would take this person possibly being my brother lightly. So instead of telling him the truth I lied. "Yea I'm ok. I just can't wait to go home."

I spoke making him nod his head giving me a questioning look. Jahseh looked like he was going to say something but he was cut off when Patty's voice spoke. "I found the key! Now we need to find the elevator to the lab." He said holding up a black key in his hands.

"You don't know where the fucking elevator is?! What the fuck were you doing the whole time you were here?"  Jahseh growled out at him. I began looking around the room and that's when I noticed it. It was a bookshelf pushed in front of something silver.

Walking over to it I placed my hands on the side and pushed with all my might. When that wouldn't work I felt someone come up behind me placing their own hands next to mine. It was Jahseh. "Push." He spoke lowly in my ear and together we were able to move the bookshelf out of the way.

There the elevator was. "Good job baby." Jahseh coo'd before giving my lips a quick peck. He went up to the elevator and pressed the down button. "Everyone have your guns at the ready. We don't know what we are going to find down there." He said while I stood next to him.

"Babe you should stay here. Keep the door to the office closed and locked at all times and wait for us to come back." Jahseh instructed me but I shook my head. "No I'm coming with you. I have to come with you." I protested making Jahseh furrow his eyebrows at me.

"Ruby what's your last name?" Jahseh asked with narrowed eyes as all eyes were now on me. Panic started to set in as I shifted on my feet. "Please let's just-" I began but X cut me off. "What. Is. Your. Last. Name." He growled out as a knowing look crossed his eyes.

Jahseh was starting to put two and two together. With a sigh I finally told him the truth. Whether he liked it or not I could prove useful in finding Michael. So with that I answered truthfully getting the reaction I knew I was going to get.

"Morbius. My last name is Morbius." I said. Jahseh kept looking at me with the same expression on his face. But as soon as I said that Ski was the first one to speak. "Oh fuck we're all dead men walking! Michael is going to kill us for sure now!" He exclaimed putting his face in his hands.
