{Daniella's POV}
{Hawkins Cafeteria, Hellfire Club Table}
{12:26pm}
He tracked my silhouette with his eyes. "Is this an addition to our group, or a sacrifice?" he walked towards me and averted his eyes to Mike and Dustin.
Dustin tried to play along.
"Oh yeah a sacrifice." He nervously smiled and spoke sheepishly.
"This is our friend, she moved here not long ago." He stammered and looked at me.
He was looking at the boys but it was like he wasn't listening.
"I thought I told you we need virgins to sacrifice," He looked back at me with a smile as I heard more scattered giggles.
"This one is much too pretty to be a vir-" Before he got a chance to finish my hand met the side of his face.
Dustin gasped and Mike's jaw dropped, the rest of them fell silent.
The man held his face for a minute and turned the other way. "My apologies, you know how it goes. Stress over a system who wants us freaks to suffer."
I rolled my eyes and turned to walk away, when he started speaking.
Again.
"But I stand by calling you pretty. You can fight and you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen, so may I ask for your name, Maiden?"
I turned to where my blue eyes met his smug smile, even though he was so cute, he was such an ass.
I couldn't possibly let this go the way he wanted.
"Look, you might scare everyone else to bend at your will but not me. I am my own person, and I'm not a maiden, especially not yours. This has been great but please leave me out of it, and have fun with your sorry little fantasy life."
I turned back to the table and put everything in my bag for a quick escape.
Just when I foolishly thought it was over, I heard his shoes walk a few steps behind me.
"That's great sweetheart, but I need your name." I sighed and turned back to him, looking at Dustin and Mike for backup. Dustin gave me a thumbs up.
I looked back and didn't realize how close he was to me.
I hesitated and I gave him a small smile.
"Well I was going to ask your name, but I think 'asshole' is the appropriate one."
I heard a few "ooooo's" and "burn!" from the table but I couldn't care less.
I turned to walk away again but I felt a hand in mine. "Don't make me ask a third time."
He had a sort of stern look on his face as he held my hand, immediately I felt butterflies.
I paused. "Danielle Walker, my friends call me Dani-." As I spoke Dustin cut me off, "It's us! We call her Dani."
Dustin had the dumbest smile on his face.
I love those kids but sometimes I want to kick the temple off their faces.
While he was looking at them I ripped my hand away from his as I stood my ground.
"Well Danielle," he said as he gave me a bow.
"I would like to make you princess of the Hellfire Club." I rolled my eyes, like I would be apart of this group of inconsiderate pricks.
Without a word I turned away and started walking, but before I reached the doors I heard one last sentence.
"If you get tired of calling me 'asshole', my name's Eddie, but I'm sure you'll remember." He said with a smile as he sat down with the rest of the table.
Dustin motioned for me to come back.
All I could think was the ways I would love to lose my mind at them at that moment, but I didn't.
I flipped the bird and stormed out with not another word.
As I left I felt eyes on me. I knew it was Eddie's, but I couldn't look back.
I needed a cigarette.
