{Dani's POV}
{Cabin}
{2 Days Later}
Eddie and I have been in the cabin all week.
Good news is that besides the occasional headache and my black eye, I've been feeling a lot better.
Eddie's been taking amazing care of me, though we learned he can't cook to save his life.
So I usually did the cooking, but he helps me take my meds on time, dress me and always has a way to make me laugh when I needed it.
Bad news is Jason is still running around Hawkins looking for Eddie and I, we get daily updates from Robin, Steve and Dustin.
They started coming up every day after school to check in, make food runs and just to hang out with us.
It felt like we were building a life together, I never got sick of waking up to Eddie's crazy brown locks or his raspy, low morning voice.
I loved going to bed while he talked to me about his dreams in life.
It made me happy that he never seemed to get sick of me either.

{Master Bedroom}
{6:17am}
I was fast asleep when all of a sudden I was shook gently.
I just groaned and tried to turn over, but Eddie was insistent.
"C'mon sleeping beauty.. Rise and shine.." He cooed as he encouraged me to wake up.
"Wha..? What's wrong baby?" I muttered in a sleepy voice, my eyes fighting to be open.
He gave me a soft kiss, I lazily kissed him back.
"Nothing's wrong princess, I just, I wanna show you something." He said as he helped me sit up.
"What's there to show? It's still dark outside.." I said as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes.
When I was finally able to keep my eyes open, I met his goofy smile, he was already dressed.
I was annoyed that I was woken up at the crack of dawn, but if it was Eddie, I didn't seem to mind.
"I want to show you something." He repeated as he got out of bed, getting his shoes on and tying them quickly.
I huffed in tired protest but I let him help me get dressed.
His shirt, a pair of shorts, and then he sat me on the bed.
"Where are we going this early?" I softly asked as he helped me put my shoes on.
He smiled at me, "Do you remember our first date? How I told you to trust me?"
I nodded as he continued, "Same principle." He said as he finished tying my laces.
He gave me his hand and led me out the back door, wrapping me in his jacket for warmth.
I followed him and when I saw the dock, there were blankets laid out.
"This looks familiar.." I smiled, "I just.. I can't put my finger on it." I said jokingly as we strolled down there.
Once we sat on the dock, he immediately threw my legs over his, placing a hand on my thigh.
"What is this?" I said curiously, the sound of the water was enough for me to fall asleep again.
"Well.. You said the sunset into night was like shifting worlds, right?" Eddie said as he rubbed my thigh.
