{Dani's POV}
{Nurses Office}
{1:07pm}
Eddie stared at me with wide eyes. "Boyfriend? "
My face turned bright red, he just heard everything.
Me calling him my boyfriend, about my mom and brother, everything.
"Boyfriend??" Dustin interrupted looked at me and then back at Eddie.
He stammered, pointing to the both of us.
"But you were a dick, you flipped him off? But I.."
Eddie laughed. "Relax Dustin, It's not official." Eddie and Dustin both narrowed their eyes at me
I felt embarrassed, Eddie stood as he looked at the nurse, I really thought he was just going to leave.
"Since i'm suspended, I can leave at anytime right?"
She nodded.
"Okay, can I take my.."
He looked at me, shooting a small smile my way. "..girlfriend with me?"
My face immediately got red as I met his eyes.
He put his hand on his heart. "I promise to take care of her."
The nurse sat and thought about it, Eddie closed the curtain behind him to talk to her.
In the mean time Dustin sat with me and and gave me a hug.
"You scared the shit out of me!" He snapped in the hug and I nodded.
"I know I did. I just wanted to protect you and Mike, I'm sorry." He paused and sighed.
"No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry Jason punched you. It's not right for him to hit a woman."
I pulled Dustin out of the hug, I realized him and I were like siblings.
He smiled as I took his hat, ruffling his hair.
"Hey!" He laughed as he took his hat back and even though smiling hurt really bad, I did it back because I knew it would put Dustin's mind at ease.
Eddie swooshed the curtain open and helped me up, Dustin too. "The nurse is letting us both go, I'll get you home sweetheart."
I frowned at him. "But your hand Eds.. Are you okay to drive?"
He looked down at the wrapping on his hand, he smiled up at me.
"Look at my girl, so concerned." He kissed me gently.
"It's me who should be concerned for you, sweetheart. Now don't fight it, let's just get you home." He wrapped his good hand around me and Dustin went on the other side of me to help me walk.
"Babe, I'm dizzy.." I whined in pain.
Eddie sighed and rested my head on his shoulder.
"I know you are princess, we just have to make it to the car." They held me tighter and we went slowly.
Step by step, my legs felt heavy and my head pounded.
We opened the door to the nurses office and people were starting to stare, everything was spinning.
Lights were too bright,
the world was too loud.
I remember seeing Robin and Steve running to us, and I felt my body give out.
I was too tired, too dizzy.
My eyes just shut, and I don't remember anything after that.

{Dani's Bedroom}
{9:38pm}
I woke up again, and I was home. I looked around and saw Eddie in my vanity chair, his head was down.
He was sleeping in my vanity chair.
I groaned in pain and that's when I heard my door creak open. It was Dustin
"Robin! Steve! She's awake!" The yelling woke up Eddie and hurt my head.
I covered my ears.
"Nice going, jerk." Eddie said to Dustin.
I looked up and saw everyone I loved. They all stared at me with concerned faces.
I looked out my window and it was dark outside, "How? How long have I been out?"
The last time I was conscious it was the middle of the day.
"About eight hours.." Robin said, sitting next to me.
"You weren't suspended, Jason was. Obviously Eddie was but you get the picture." I nodded and hugged Robin tightly.
Robin hugged me back. "We're just happy you're okay." She said, Steve came and joined the hug,
then Dustin,
and lastly and hesitantly,
Eddie.
There it was, my second family stood before me.
Embracing me, and each other. I pulled everyone away and we talked for a while.
How the cops found Jason driving away and he got suspended for longer than Eddie because he threw the first punch.
They said how the even though Eddie wasn't our principals favorite person, he understood it was defense in my honor.
After a while more of talking Eddie asked if we could be alone.
"Of course, we're gonna grab dinner, we'll be out!" Robin said as she dragged Steve and Dustin out as they protested.
I heard the front door slam, and Steve's car drive off.
Eddie looked at me, "How uh, are you feeling?"
I sighed as I held my head. "Like I got hit by a bus named Jason."
He let out a small, short laugh and then averted his eyes to the floor, "I'm sorry you had to see, well, all of that."
I looked up at him, nervous as hell. "I'm sorry I called you my boyfriend, I know you're probably not ready, or wanting an actual relationship."
Eddie scoffed, "Are you kidding me? I thought you were going to dump my ass. When you called me your boyfriend.."
He sat next to me on my bed.
"..i've never been happier Dani."
He smiled at me, "I mean, it would be pretty cool to be your boyfriend. I'd be dating the badass girl who stood up to Jason."
I laughed even though it hurt to, I leaned closer to him.
I bit my lip to hold back talking, but I decided to say fuck it, we're already this far.
"So are you going to ask me to be your girlfriend? Or is this going to be like our first kiss and I have to make the first move?"
He laughed and moved me onto his lap, I straddled him as he kissed me deeply.
"Danielle Walker.." He wrapped his arms around me, feeling up my back with his good hand.
His rings cold to the touch.
Our lips were so close and suddenly he whispered.
"..Will you be my girlfriend?" I smiled and locked our lips again.
We pulled away for air and I nodded,
"Yes, I will be your girlfriend, Eddie Munson."
He stared into my eyes and I couldn't look away from his.
