I am awakened by noises around me, I open my eyes before seeing that Anakin was no longer in my bed, I then straighten up keeping the comforter on my chest, hiding myself, I immediately see Anakin getting dressed.

"What are you doing up so early? I ask.

- The council asked me in order to give them an update on you." He says.

I nod before pointing to my closet.

"Can you pass me a shirt in the second drawer please?"

Anakin nods before opening the shirt and handing me a gray, long shirt. He tosses it to me, I then put it on before grabbing my panties from the edge of the bed and putting them back on. I stand up before I see Anakin take his lightsaber and put it away. He walks over to me.

"I'm going to go, I'll be back by noon. There's a light show this afternoon, I'm taking you to it so be ready when I get back."

I nod my head up and down before I feel Anakin slide his hand down my cheek, he brings his face close and places a chaste kiss on my lips. I smile against his lips. He pulls back before smiling at me.

"See you later." I say.

Anakin then walks out of my room, then out of the apartment. I then head straight out to get ready. I grab a cup of coffee, drink it quickly and then head to my bathroom where I took a quick shower. I then did my hair.

I decided to let my hair loose, leaving my curls free, but I still made some small braids that I decorated with white hair jewelry. I then go to my room to look for a dress. I choose a long pale green dress, leaving my shoulders bare. I then go to my bathroom to put on some perfume. I immediately see the necklace that Anakin had given me.

I take it in my hands, observing it for a few seconds, smiling stupidly before biting my lip thinking about last night. I tie the necklace around my neck before slipping into white pumps and walking out of my room.

Two hours had already passed, Anakin should be back in an hour, so I decide to prepare some food.

I had just finished cooking the spicy chicken. As I was cooking the vegetables in the pan, I hear the elevator doors open, I turn around and see Anakin, I automatically smile before focusing on the kitchen. I hear his footsteps coming towards me.

"What are you cooking?

- Spicy chicken and vegetables.

- I thought you couldn't cook, that's what you told me six months ago in the woods on Naboo."

He remembered it, he remembered that conversation. I automatically smiled before speaking up, turning back to him.

"I've been practicing." I say.

Anakin stifles a laugh before running his hand over my waist. I feel his body pressed against mine, he shifts my hair to the side with his hand before placing a few kisses on my neck, I sigh in pleasure before Anakin speaks up against my neck.

"I wish you didn't have to hide the hickeys so everyone would know you are mine... But we can't, not right now.

- Maybe things will change?" I say as I turn around to face him.

Anakin shrugs, thinking to himself that maybe it's true. He suddenly tucks a strand of my hair behind my ear before speaking up.

"Loose hair looks good on you.

- Do you think so?"

I had left it like that for him, I was hoping he would like it, and I'm relieved that he thinks it looks good on me. Anakin smiled before speaking up.

"You look beautiful, no matter what your hair looks like."

I smile before kissing Anakin briefly, I then turn around and turn off the fire before picking up the pan and pouring vegetables onto our plates with the chicken. We start eating on my coffee table, just like we had done the other night with the sushi.

I had to leave in the morning, and I would like to take advantage of the fact that he was still with me before leaving. I had offered him to continue to stay with me for a while, but I don't know if he talked to the council about it.

"I've talked to the council, and they said yes." He says suddenly.

I frown before looking up at him, like does he know what I was thinking? Did I speak out loud? No, I'm sure I didn't though. Anakin stifles a laugh at my confused look, he then justifies himself by taking some vegetables from his fork.

"Jedi can read minds too."

I widen my eyes in amazement. Does that mean he could have heard my thoughts without me knowing? I lower my head in embarrassment. I'm so stupid.

"No you're not.

- What did you read?" I say as I discreetly look up at him.

He smiles softly before putting down his fork and speaking up.

"Not that many times. Only two, or three. This is the third time.

- And what did you read?

- The first time was six months ago, when you saved me in the bar. That's how I knew it was you who stopped the laser, and the second time was at the bar a few days ago, when you were drunk."

And I was drunk? What an idiot, I don't even want to know what I might have said to him. I'd rather not remember. He finally speaks up.

"Okay, I won't tell you then... But you thought something flattering." He says simply before he starts eating again.

I wanted to hide, or disappear from this galaxy. I don't know if it was possible to make myself disappear with my own powers, but I must admit I wanted to.

"Don't worry, I won't get inside your head again, if you don't.

- But I didn't after the day we met." I said.

I was lying, I did it the day before yesterday. But that's just a detail. We continue to eat.
