The sound of hooves hitting the wet earth invaded my ears. We had entered the forest, the birds were singing and I could hear the wind caressing the leaves. I looked up to the sky, the sun's rays blinded my eyes.

"Nature looks good on you."

I turn to Anakin after his voice calls out to me. I frown, his gaze boring into mine.

"What are you saying?" I say.

Anakin stifles a laugh as he lowers his head before, raising it to me, answering me.

"No, nothing."

I tilt my head to the side, a sneer forming on my lips. I sigh softly through my nose before turning away.

"Thanks." I say, having heard well what he had said earlier.

I feel his gaze turn to me, I smile quietly, sensing his surprise and confusion. I change the subject as I look around, making the Fathier stop.

"I've set up targets all over this forest, if I remember correctly, there's one not far from here, three more two kilometers away, and five more near a clearing further on.

- Did you put them down a long time ago? Anakin asked.

- A very long time."

I take an arrow before raising my bow toward a tree. I notch the arrow on the bow before bringing my face close to the elastic, keeping my finger between the arrow and the string. I close one eye, trying to aim correctly, then release the arrow. I hear the sound of the rock from the tip of the arrow hitting the target. I lower the bow, seeing that the arrow had reached the middle.

"Wow, is there anything you don't know how to do Miss Naberrie Amidala?"

I stifle a laugh before turning to Anakin, I speak up.

"I don't know how to cook."

Anakin starts to laugh, his smile was truly angelic. I understood Padme on one hand, Anakin is charismatic. He answers me.

"I don't think your future husband would like that."

I frown before turning to the target, I speak up between a few sighs.

"A woman who can't cook is still a good woman to marry. I don't define housework or cooking, I define womanhood."

A chuckle forming on the corner of my lip, I turn my face to Anakin, inking my gaze into his.

"Besides, I don't plan on getting married, so it won't be a problem if I can't cook."

The young man remains silent, watching me motionless. He smiles tenderly and then speaks up.

"You're right. I like your repartee."

We continue to walk forward, the Fathiers were walking alongside, so I was rather close to Anakin. I feel his gaze on me.

"Why don't you want to get married?

- I've already answered that question, love doesn't matter to me because I have a mission to accomplish, a mission and a promise."

Anakin frowns, I turn to a large rock, raising my bow without stopping the Fathier, I pull out an arrow before jamming it into the rubber band, I aim, take a big long sigh.

"What mission?" I hear Anakin.

I release the arrow, it makes its way before landing on the target, in the middle, again. I turn to the apprentice, lowering my bow

"Protect my sister until she finds a husband.

- Who gave you this mission?

- My adopted parents."
