We were in a large hallway of the palace and I saw Padme in the distance talking with two burghers living here. She immediately sees me with Anakin. She smiled at me before apologizing to the two people she was talking to. She then walks towards us before smiling at us. Arriving at our proximity, I bow followed by Anakin.

"Queen Amidala." I say before straightening up.

Padme smiles at me before taking me in her arms. I whisper a few words in her ear.

"I am so proud of you... I say.

- Thank you so much Oriana..." She says.

We part before she takes Anakin in her arms. She turns to us and speaks.

"Did you have a good trip? she asks.

- Yes, sorry I couldn't attend your coronation this morning.

- That's okay." Padme assures Anakin.

The three of us then continue to talk while Padme gossips about the coronation guests. She also told us how it went.

"It's weird to think that Mom and Dad aren't King and Queen of Naboo anymore and all their powers are mine. She said with a smile.

- You don't say. Maybe they'll have more time to take care of Pooja and Ryoo, I'm tired of babysitting." I say with a laugh.

Anakin looks at me quietly referring to earlier in my room when Pooja openly betrayed me.

"I can't believe they get along with you better than with me." She says.

I smile at Padme before she gets called out by her secretary. She turns around before addressing us apologetically.

"Duty calls. I'll leave you to it, see you soon."

We greet her before she leaves. I then sigh before turning back with Anakin. He then speaks up.

"I hope she makes it.

- Don't worry. It's in her blood. Although I have to admit, I could never be in her shoes."

I feel Anakin lay his eyes on me, I then look up at him. He thinks for a few moments, getting ready to speak.

"What's going on? I say confused.

- Nothing..." He says.

I stop walking and turn completely to Anakin. Something is bothering him and he is hiding it from me.

"There's something you're not telling me...

- Forget it, it's completely stupid to think that... It's impossible."

I sigh before Anakin turns to me. I then step closer before taking his hands in mine. I look up at him taking in the words.

"Talk to me Ani..." I say.

Anakin looks at me for a few moments before looking down and speaking up even though he looked hesitant.

"I'm not supposed to say this, but do you remember yesterday when the chancellor told you that you should look after your loved ones?

- Yes, the chancellor wants me locked up under guard, I don't like that guy.

- Well... What if he murdered Padme? First to get to you emotionally, hoping you'll do something stupid. Then the crown would be yours. You're still the heir to the throne until Padme has children..."

He was right about that one, I am the heir to the throne. But the chancellor would never kill the queen. Never, I warned him. And even if he wanted to, he couldn't. It would be a terrible betrayal. Anakin continues in his speech.

"We both know you're not cut out for the life of a queen, you said so yourself. And he knows it too. You'd be wrong. He would bring you down by doing that, it would be calculated."

I frown as I look at Anakin, he looks up at me before he speaks up looking suddenly stupid, immediately regretting his words.

"Forget it, it's stupid. I don't know why I said that. I can't say that about the chancellor." He immediately lets go of my hands.

I frown before walking over and placing one of my hands on Anakin's cheek. He then looks up at me.

"No, it's not stupid... I just don't think it could happen, the Chancellor would never do that." I say.

Anakin nods in agreement before looking down. I then smile at him before he takes my hand back in his.

"I love you... he says.

- I love you too."

Anakin smiles at me before looking up around him, I see him checking to see if there were people around us before he lowers his head and kisses me tenderly. I then smile against his lips as I bring my hand up behind his neck.

The next day, I think I spent the day in the library reading. Anakin had joined me. He was sitting in a chair around several shelves and I was sitting on his lap.

One of his hands was around my waist and the other was between my thighs. I was wearing a skirt so his hand could caress my thigh. My hand was around his neck, running my fingers through his hair as I read. But this book was really boring. I tried to stay in the story, but I gave up after about 50 pages.

I closed it and put it on my lap, then I turned to Anakin.

"You should go for a walk instead of being locked up here. I said.

- No, I like being with you."

I smile softly before placing my other hand on his cheek. I look around, checking to see if anyone was there, even though not many people were coming into the library. I place a quick kiss on Anakin's lips.

"Oriana, can I ask you a question?

- Yes, of course. I say.

- When did you know you loved me?"

It was a good question. I think I was starting to get attached to him when we all left together on Tatooine, and when we left it was like a big void. I think I realized I loved him when I saw him again.

"I think I started to love you during the 6 months you were gone, but I realized it when I saw you again, and you, when did you know you loved me?

- Since the day I went with you into the woods to do archery." He said.

Has he loved me all this time? I'm surprised. I didn't think so. I wasn't even able to realize it, but now that he says it, it's true that his behavior had changed after that day. I pick up my book, deciding to put it down to get a new one.

"I'll be right back." I say.

I then stand up before suddenly feeling Anakin's hand holding me by the wrist, I then turn around before meeting his eyes. His hand was on his thigh, near his crotch. He sat me down on top of him before whispering in my ear.

"Give me a few minutes."

I frowned not understanding what he meant, he sat back on the back of the chair and I immediately felt a bump against my crotch. I can't help but blush. I looked at Anakin who was smirking when he saw that I understood.

I put my head down and started to read as if nothing had happened, even though it was a boring book.
