The door led out into a simple garage. Woody looked around, and saw numbers written in faded black paint on the walls. Had this once been some type of storage building?
"Woody, look!" Buzz pointed across the room. There was a garage door, with three small windows in it. Daylight poured through all three.
"Great!" Moana clapped her hands together. "How do we open it?"
"That's easy." Woody pointed to a panel on the wall. "I just need you to press that red button."
She looked at it for a moment, as if she'd never seen anything like it before. Woody realized, suddenly, that she probably hadn't. If she was from a civilization that hadn't developed electricity yet...he felt a surge of sympathy for the girl. This was all new to her. She was taking it amazingly well.
She pushed the button, and all three of them started at the sound of the garage door rising. Sunlight flooded in from the outside, as well as a surge of warmth, letting Woody know for the first time how cold it had been inside.
Tentatively, the three walked through the doorway. It took Woody's eyes a moment to adjust to the bright sunlight. When they did, he was able to recognize (at least somewhat) where they were.
The building they were in was just across the street from a neighborhood of bungalows, all of which were painted in neutral colors. The warm temperature suggested that they were either somewhere with a warm climate, or it was the middle of summer. The sky overhead was blue and cloudless, and (probably from one of the bungalow backyards) he could hear the distant sound of laughing children. But it was the scent of oranges from the trees in someone's backyard that helped Woody realize where they were.
"We're in Florida." He breathed, hardly believing it.
"Where?" Moana questioned.
"Are you sure?" Buzz asked him.
"Yes." Woody nodded, answering the space ranger. "Before Andy got you for his birthday, Grandma and Grandpa took him on vacation with them to Florida. I went, too. I didn't see everything, but I'd know that smell anywhere."
"Okay, so we know where we are," Moana brought the toys back to reality, "but how did we get here? And how do we get help?"
"We could ask them." Buzz was looking across the street.
The others looked, and saw that they'd been spotted. There were two kids, both holding half-eaten hot dogs, staring at them. One was a girl with medium brown skin, black hair in a single braid, a red hooded jacket, and bright red high tops. The other was a boy with dark brown skin, short dreadlocks, a blue bomber jacket, and sky blue sneakers. Both were staring at the trio as though they'd seen a ghost.
Acting on instinct, both toys froze. Buzz remained standing in his action-hero stance, while Woody flopped to the ground. As he lay there, he wondered why he'd done that. There was no real reason to, especially if they were trying to get help.
Moana, startled by the toys dropping like that, bent over and asked if they were okay. They didn't have any time to answer before the girl was grabbed from behind. A second later, both toys were grabbed as well.
The cowboy realized that, obviously, the sound of the garage door would be loud enough to attract attention. He was furious at himself for not telling the others to hide, instead of the three of them just standing there with their mouths hanging open. Which, of course, was how Daniels had managed to sneak up on them and catch them all over again.
Woody couldn't see their jailer's face (Daniels had stuffed both toys in a sack again so he could better hold Moana), but he knew that he was furious. What's more, he doubted if they'd be able to escape so easily again.
Buzz, once again glowing in the darkness of the sack, seemed equally furious, and was moving all around, trying to find a way out. After a moment, the cowboy joined him. The only opening was at the top, and Daniels' fist had it shut tight.

Nala was lying on the floor, trying, in spite of her situation, to nap. She, like most lions, slept for most of the day. Being kidnapped and imprisoned in a world she couldn't begin to understand had really thrown off her sleeping schedule. She was dozing, listening to the white noise of Jack and Lightning McQueen talking.
"I just don't understand how you're taking this so well." McQueen told the skeleton.
"Well...can I let you in on a secret?"
"Sure."
"For the first time in a long time, I am very afraid. I have no idea how to get home, or how to help any of you. I'm trying to remain happy, or at least act that way, to keep everyone calm."
"It's okay to be afraid in a bad situation. We don't know if he's going to hurt us...or worse. I mean, look at me."
"I'm not worried about him hurting me. He can't; I'm a skeleton. The only way to destroy me is to reduce me to dust. But the rest of you can be hurt. You've already been badly hurt. And there's nothing I can do to help fix that."
"You're afraid for us?"
"I'm the Pumpkin King. Any king's first responsibility is to help people, even if they're strangers."
Nala, despite being half asleep, smiled. She, a fellow royal, fully agreed. She was about to drift off when she heard, on the other side of the door, the sound of Moana's voice. She was shouting.
The lioness woke up instantly, and got to her feet. "Moana?"
Jack and McQueen stopped talking immediately. She looked as far as she could down the hall. The skeleton and car (whatever that was) asked her what was wrong, but she ignored them, still trying to watch the door.
A second later it was thrown wide. From the smell, she knew it was Daniels. He'd captured Moana again, and most likely the toys, too. Jack could see them the best, and began shouting.
"Let her go!"
"Shut up!" Daniels shoved Moana back into her cell, slamming and locking the door while ignoring the curses that came from the girl.
He was holding a sack, which Nala correctly guessed held the toys. He tossed it into their cell, and locked the door. The sack wasn't tied shut, and the toys emerged almost immediately.
Daniels walked out of the hall, leaving the door open. Nala wondered why, but her question was soon answered when he came back carrying long sections of chains. In minutes, despite the protests of the prisoners, four out of five of the cell doors had been chained shut (McQueen, due to his being paralyzed, had been spared).
"That ought to keep you out of trouble." His smug grin returned. Nala wished she could claw it off of his face.
He turned on his heel and left, this time shutting the door behind him. The moment he left, Nala, Jack, and McQueen began asking questions.
"Are you okay?" McQueen asked.
"Did you find out where we are?" Nala questioned.
"We're okay." Moana answered, although she sounded outraged.
"We're in Florida." Woody announced, responding to McQueen's question.
"Or this dimension's Florida." Buzz added.
"Florida?" Nala had no idea where that was.
"Did you manage to find any help?" Jack asked Moana.
"I don't think so." She sounded upset. "The only people we saw were two kids, but I don't think they'll help us."
