CHAPTER 04: UNFORTUNATE VISITORS.
third person's POV.
...
The family and visitors in the house realized that they were trapped. The married couple who owned the house tried to discuss the situation with the other people and did their best to control the room and manage to keep everyone calm, but it was only a matter of time before things could take a turn for the worse.
"Kamusta sa labas? Are we dead?" a guy named Cayden asked. He looked like a typical hoodlum with messy and pale features. His outfit consisted of a white striped navy blue suit, a white collared shirt, black leather shoes, and a simple necklace, possibly to flaunt some wealth and fashion sense. Cayden had brown hair styled in a twisted manner, hazel eyes, thin sideburns, and he often tried to portray confidence but deep down he was a coward.
Eve, standing beside Cayden, rolled her eyes in annoyance at his loudness. She was a tall woman with blonde hair fading to pink at the tips, brown eyes, and an attractive figure. She wore glasses and had noticeably dark eyebrows.
"Zombies. Mga zombies sila, 'no? Parang sa mga movies!" Cayden said with a worried look on his face, looking at Eve.
"Ang OA, ha! Praning mo masyado. Madami ka lang napapanood!" Eve replied. He talks too much for a guy.
"Pero 'pag tumingin ka sa labas, it's the same thi—" someone interrupted Cayden.
"Ano nang gagawin natin? Hindi naman pwedeng tumunganga lang tayo dito. Subukan n'yo ule tumawag ng police!"
"Kanina ko pa tinatry pero 'di naman sila nasagot."
"Ate," a young boy with tan skin and a cheerful smile resembling a cat, sat beside Madison, who was in tears. Madison, an attractive girl of average height, had long chest-length ash blonde hair cascading down her back. She lived in the same apartment building as Lilith and was the second neighbor Lilith met in the elevator on her way to her new apartment.
"Why are you crying?" the 8-year-old boy asked with a worried look on his face.
"Didn't your parents tell you not to talk to strangers?" Madison replied in a monotone while wiping her face using her hands.
"Hindi naman po kayo stranger, e. Pinapasok po kayo ni dad sa house, it means hindi kayo stranger," he answered. "My name is Jonathan, but you can call me John or Nathan. My family calls me by my full first name naman. Ikaw, anong pangalan mo?"
Madison clicked her tongue and avoided making eye contact with the kid. Sa dinami-dami namang tao dito sa room, ako pa talaga ang napili niyang istorbohin.
"Wala akong pangalan," Jonathan raised a brow and scratched his head.
"Huh? Pwede ba 'yon?" Madison nodded.
"Weird, 'di ba? Kaya umalis ka na," Madison sarcastically smiled.
"No, thank you," Madison let out a deep breath out of frustration because of the kid.
"By the way, why are people gathered here in the living room? Is there a party? Why didn't Dad tell us about this? Why is-"
"Why are YOU here? Shouldn't YOU be in your room?" Madison asked emphatically.
"I got bored, you know!" Jonathan replied. "And besides, Dad and Mommy are here! My big sister and stepbrother Axle are in their room. Ate and kuya never play with me, and I don't even have friends... That's why I enjoy being around people!"
The other shifty visitors started to panic again.
"Are we just gonna wait for help and do nothing!?" a woman in a black suit named Syndra spoke. Syndra is an attractive fair-skinned woman with shoulder-length brown hair tied up in a small ponytail. Some strands of her hair hang down, and she has bangs swept to the left. She has thin brown eyes, thin eyebrows, and a feminine figure with wide hips and large breasts.
