I was on my way to the Council when my communication crystal glows.

"Arcus"

"The King needs you now"

I heard loud noises in his background and several crashes coming from glass objects, it must be a window this time.

"I'm coming over there"

using my magic it is not difficult for me to teleport but it consumes a lot of mana, I need a lot of sleep tonight.

I hope I can sleep tonight but with the King's current state I don't think I can even close my eyes for a bit.

I teleported and I heard loud crashes and terrifying growls.

I saw the guards and the servants outside the King's door they are pale and trembling.

"How long has it been?" I asked Arcus the leader of the Kingsguard.

"It's been 5 minutes after he awakened and began his frenzy I called you immediately"

I opened the door without hesitation, and the first thing I saw is a flying dagger coming right through me.

"Silvan! bring her to me! it was all her fault!" His voice echoed in the whole room.

Thanks to my fast reflexes I was able to dodge it I bowed to him as a sign of respect.

"Your majesty forgive me but I cannot"

His eyes glows intensely and he gritted his fangs.

"You dare to disobey me!" He grabbed another knife and throw it at me.

This time I didn't dodge I grunted when the knife pierced through my stomach thankfully it didn't hit my heart.

The King's eyes widen looking like he realized what he has done.

He pulled his hair and screamed in frustration.

"This should not be happening she is not my destined one! I shouldn't be this way!"

I removed the knife and my wound instantly healed.

"But she is now your majesty you married each other in the presence of the blood moon"

He grunted and held his neck.

He must be thirsty.

it feels awful to see my King in this condition and I am very frustrated because I can't do anything.

his blonde hair was dishevelled and his blazing ruby-red eyes and his long fangs are ready to engage in an attack, his looks right now are enough to make you faint in horror.

He looks like a monster inside the Midnight Chambers.

I waved my hand and filled the room with my magic I'm not able to make it more potent because it will make me weak.

"Make sure the King's condition will never escape these walls."

"Understood great lord," Arcus said.

I went near the King and he immediately attacked me but the silver chains with my mana could restrain him for a while.

"What happened to the consort that you brought last night"

"It was effective for a while but the King is not sated, he was longing for the blood that made him frenzy," Arcus said.
