Part 11: lost

Author note: I'll be deviating from the serie. And making up some own stuff, not that I was already following everything. Hope you enjoy!

You set an alarm clock for early in the morning. So you could make the boys lunch and breakfast.
But you couldn't sleep. You just cried as you stared blankly to the wall.

Staring untill your eyes couldn't win the fight anymore before falling shut.
About 3 hours later your alarm went off.
You weren't ready but you couldn't skip school again.

You put on your outfit and threw everything in your bag.
Walking downstairs smelling a nice sent.
When you came down the boys were already up. And they were making breakfast..

"Goodmorning Y/N" Will said as he was the first on to spot you.

"Guys I wanted to make breakfast" you said walking towards the kitchen "it's my job to take care of you guys."

"Not today!" Dustin said with a wide smile guiding you to your seat. There was plate with a flower on it.
Obviously plucked for your own garden but it was the idea that counts.
You picked the flower put it next to you.

Just in time he said as will popped eggs and bacon on your plate. Dustin following with eggos and some slightly overtoasted bread.
It exactly tasted pretty nice and it was cute seeing them work together like that.
Laughing and just eating.

They had seen a lot, lost a lot. It was great to see them smiling and just being children again.
It made you think about Eddie. He was probably feeling down. And there was no one to cheer him up.

"You guys should pack some for Eddie." They all went quiet.
"He also had rough night." Smiling at them.

They did pack for him as grab a brown lunch bag from the top of the cupboards.
Packing it nicely. You saw some post it notes and decided to write something.

"The boys made you some lunch. Enjoy." No that was stupid. You ripped it off and tore the note.
"The boys were so kind to make you some nice lunch. Hope it tastes good!"
Also no. You tried a couple more times but nothing sounded right.

You just wrote "I'm sorry" and put it in the bag. Closing it. Putting it in Dustin's bag.

You drove everyone to school and walking straight to class. You sat down as you grabbed your books.
Ignoring everyone. Knowing this school everyone already knew what was going on.

The class become fuller and louder as more and more people walked in.
But you felt an shiver as you looked up you saw your boyfriend walk in, well ex boyfriend.

He saw the free spot next to you and almost ran up to it.
"Y/N talk to me." He said turning to you. You just kept looking down at your desk. Pretending to be ready something.

"Y/N, please we both made a mistake." He was reaching for you arm and as he touched it you turned around. Trying to stay calm.

"No. You made the biggest mistake." Looking him right in the eye and focussing on your breathing. "I didn't sleep with someone else. Or wait multiple times." Softly slamming your fist against the table.

"I dont know what your talking about." Trying to lie. And trying to shoot something back. "Then what were you doing you know, with those freaks." You were still trying to control yourself.

"Those freaks? One of them is my brother and the rest are like my brothers." Your ex boyfriend just laughed.
"And about that cult leader of theirs?" Tilting his head sideways to make a point.

"Eddie is just a nice guy." Looking at him "and yes he kissed me. But I walked away." He tried to open his mouth to talk. But you didn't want to give him the chance to.

"Something you should've done." Tears started forming in your eyes. Trying not to get mad. You knew you weren't innocent. But you stopped for a reason.

"Y/N please meet me at the bleacher after school. We can work this out." He tried again. You didn't want to. This wasn't going to work out. Not only because he cheated but you did like the freak. The freak that called you a whore last night and just walked away.

"Sure" you stated. Before looking away and trying to focus on class. Few classes down and it was time for lunch.
It was time to see Eddie..

You walked into the cafeteria. And saw Dustin running up to you. "Eddie didn't show today." You raised your eyebrows.
Eddie had skipped before so weren't that worried. But Dustin told you that he had a gut feeling. You told him not to worry.

"Have you tried the office yet?" Thinking that maybe they have gotten a call. "You might snitch him on skipping though."
You started thinking and you knew his favorite place, his "skip spot"

"I'll go to his spot. But you are not coming. You guys are not skipping school." You said with a stern voice.

You grabbed your stuff and ran to the forrest behind school. Walking towards his spot.
He wasn't there.. this when you began feeling the same gut feeling as Dustin. But you didn't want to admit and ofcourse didn't want to scare Dustin.
You went back to your car to check his van. But nobody was home. There wasn't a trace that he had been back here.

The nervous feeling grew bigger and bigger but decided to put it down till after school and start looking with the boys.

But you first you had to cancel with your boyfriend. That could wait.
You found him and when you told him he wasn't happy about.But honestly you couldn't care less.

First you needed to find Eddie.
