Part 8: DND princess

You drove to Eddie's place in complete silence as the boys were having some kind of discussion about a dwarf.
You didn't want to come at all but like you had said before, it's way too hard to say no to your little brother.

You entered the lane and parked your car.
All the boys immediately stepped out and started running towards the door.
They were so cute when they are excited.

You stayed a little while longer and pulled the sun shield down as it revealed a mirror. You checked your make up and fixed it up a bit.

You now realized that you were still in your cheer gear. A cheerleader going to play dnd with her dorky little brother, his nerd friends and the freak you had a crush on.
Wait. The freak you have a crush on..

Damn it. You had a crush on him. You could finally admit.
You shook your head to get your head out of all these thoughts.
You reached for your door handle but before you could open the door swung open.

You gasped as you were startled by what happend.
You looked at the person who opened the door and it was Eddie.

"You are taking too long." He just said with a bitter tone.
"If you're not going to take this serious you better go home."
You chuckled.

"But as I had already noticed you like playing games so you would love to come in. Dont you Y/N?"
You at him dead in the eye and started laughing.
Was this dude serious. This was so childish.

You stepped out of the car without saying a word. Throwing your car door shut, fixing your skirt and walking inside of the van.
You had no words for him, and if you have had them, he didn't deserve him right now.

You sat inbetween Mike and Dustin. Sitting as far as you could for Eddie.
Eddie walked and turned off the light and turning some spooky lighting on.
"Travelers, wizards and all other creatures." He began. You almost laughed at the tone he put on but tried to stay serious.

"Today we have a new traveler under us." He looked at you. "She is a princess, and she always acts like it." He know looked around.
"The group will have to help the princess get home to her prince boyfriend."

Great. We hadn't even began and he had already made it personal.
"This princess will show that she not one to play with." Rolling your eyes.

You turned to the boys and told them that you were going to rock this.

He began and you guys played for a long time as you come to the ending you were about to die.
You guys had found the magical amethyst that would save the queen and yeah blabla. You get the point.
But backing to your dying part.

You had been discussing for a while and decided that you needed a extra hand.

"We should call for my boyfriend." You smirked at Eddie. Wanting to get on his nerve but he got on yours with that intro.
Everyone agreed.

"Ooh boyfriend please come help me!" You screamed as you rolled your dice.
you threw a 17. Great throw.

"Your boyfriend will come down." He laughed "like the savior he is."
Eddie rolled his eyes.

He put a prince on horse figure on the table but before you could say anything he put another figure next to it. A girl.
"But" Eddie started.

"He took his new girl with him." He looked at you. "Because you didn't go to the victory ball with him."
You looked confused. What did he mean.

Then it hit you. He was talking about the night after the game.

"Eddie?" Staring into his eyes. Tears welling up. "What do you know?"

"Who is Eddie?" He rolled his eyes. "Were playing a game." I felt like everybody disappeared from the room. Like it was just you two. You lost it.

"The princess doesn't need anyone." A tear fell down. "She takes a swing to the heart of the stupid monster. Takes the stupid magical crystal." He let out a painful sigh.
"And you know what." Nobody dared to stop you. "She leaves this stupid town. And she is never ever coming back."
You roll your dice. "20"

You stand up take a bow.
"Goodbye, until we meet again." As you slammed the door shut.

You stepped into your car and just drove off as your tears starting streaming down your face.

Hiiii thanks for being patient. I have lot of exams coming up. So I'm very busy. I'll try to update the story as much as possible as I already wrote some chapters :)
