Part 32:hardest goodbye

Your sobbing became worse and worse, and you were severely out of breath. You were muttering his name and trying to find a trace off a heart beat. You started to do CPR as that was the only thing that come to your mind. "Don't go Eddie, you need to be here. You need to be with me." You went in for his nose and gave it a squeeze and placed your lips on his giving a first blow. You took some air for yourself and wanted to give another one but a cough interupted. "Eddie?" You asked.

"Hey, what are you doing my crazy girl." He gave you his signature soft smile, it used to make you swoon. But you were mad, why did he go!?
"Ed your wounds are pretty bad." You said to him. "I know, breathing is getting pretty hard. And my sight is soft. But atleast I can see you." He tried lift his arms but he wasn't able to lift it as he groaned out in pain.

"We need to get you home." You said. You started looking around for something that could help you bit there was nothing. "Y/N, I heard you say it, that you love me. Finally. Or is it just because I'm dying" the last part made you gasp.

"You're not dying." You just said. "And if you want me to say it another time, you should keep your eyes focussed on me and get you or your feet. We're going home." He shook his head and you saw a tear fall on the side on his face. You fell down next to him again. Caressing his face, giving him a kiss.

"This is a good way to die." He said. You were crying but trying to smile at him. "With the girl I love next to me, and didn't hide or run!" He said with joy.

"No you didn't, your a real DnD hero baby." He let out a laugh but it hurt too much so he let out multiple coughs again.

"Baby, we're going to walk. Okay, you need to be my hero for very very longer." He nodded. "I need you to keep breathing and keep going, were going to get you home. Home with me." He nodded. You got him this far.
He got finally up but you heard that ever piece movement hurt him. There was so much blood. It looked bad but you didn't want to say.

He leaned on you and took a long breath with coughs in return. The steps were slow but you to the door. Eddie collapsed again. You fell with him breaking his fall. You stood infront of him and his eyes grew bigger. You realized that you were covered in his blood. "Don't look at it. You're fine, you almost home." He nodded and you helped him up. You screamed for Dustin, for his help.

He fell again and again but you helped everytime. And you didn't know how, but you got him up. You were out of the upside down. You now weak body fell next to him. You couldn't stop your tears anymore. "Eds, we need to get you cleaned and check your wounds. We need to get you to the hospital."

"No, they'll find out that you left the house." You shugged. "We'll deal with it." You said.
You found more strength and lifted yourself up. "Dusty. We need to find anything to stops the bleeds, cleans wounds and will keep his pain low." You started running around and you found enough to help him. You led him into his bed and made sure that he resting easy. He didn't die, yet. You decided to stay. You told him to sleep and he did. He was weak and in pain. You sat next to him watching his chest for his breathing and kept his wrist into your head so you felt a pulse.
You weren't going to be able to sleep tonight.

"Y/N?" A voice came for behind. "Something is going wrong. He got Max trapped." Your eyes filled with tears again. You didn't want to loose Max either. That's when you heard it, the ticking, the ticking you knew all to well.
You looked next to you and before you knew it you were in the upside down again. But the first thing you saw was Max to wall. But next to here was a girl you didn't recognize. "Max!" You screamed.

"Well well, done saving your boyfriend for my bats? Or is he dead?" Vecna said. "Dead like our Max is going to be, like Eleven here and oh just like you Y/N. It's your time." You reflex starting running. But not away, towards him. Vecna had both arms stretched to pin the girls. You pushed his hand making the unknow girl fall to the ground. And this was a good choice. She got up right again and blew Vecna away with loud blows and power.

But when you looked at Max here bones looked cracked and blood was under here eyes. You wanted to go to here but you were woke up. You were next to Eddie again. You were in completely pannick.

All you were murmuring was "Max. He killed Max." You were sobbing loudly. Screaming her name.
But you were stopped with the ground shaking. You looked outside to she fire and the earth cracking. Somehow you were far from it, you were safe.

"Eddie I need you to get into the car. Right now." You and Dustin helped into the car, lying in the backseat.
"You drove to creel house." You were there sooner than you had thought. The either of Hakins was filled with fire and cracks but you made it there. You stopped the car and outside were the boys and Lucas, Lucas had somebody in his arms. "Max" you whispered.
You ran towards there. You didn't realize that you were still covered in Eddie's blood.

"I saw her" you screamed "We can still save her." You sobbed. "We can't loose her. She needs us." You said. "Why didn't give her her headset!" You said angrily. You guessed that they have never seen you like this because they looked shocked.
"It was Justin. He stopped us, he was going to shoot us." Lucas was crying too. "We were supossed to save her in time but he just ran in." You started looking around.

"Where is he? I'm going to kill him." You said. Lucas and the rest looked down. You gave a questioning look. "He fell into the crack, it cracked right under him. He's gone." You felt guilty, you didn't want him to actually die.
"We need to get to our parents." You said.

"There all fine." A voice said. "El?" Dustin screamed. But you already knew, you had already seen her.
You told everybody about Eddie, pointing to the blood.

You all went home. Seeing all the parents pack there stuff. You needed to leave Hawkins. Your parents wanted to leave for a nearby town but Hawkins High set up centre. You decided to stay for a little longer and Dustin stayed to. This was mainly because Max was staying in the hospital. So all the parents agreed to stay for a few more days.

Eddie got stronger by the day. But it was bad so he couldn't really help. But you guys did the best you could.
