You got home late. Too late. Karma didn't feel comfortable leaving you at home after what he witnessed. He tried to stall you as long as possible so you'd get your mind off the events.
You two had a study session at the cafe you went to the other day. It was quiet. You both sat silently and read while eating. Sometimes you two would share glances or ask a question, but that was it. You both appreciated it.
He walked you home long after 5:30. Your brother was home, but not your father. You could tell by how Gakushuu's room lights were on while your fathers wasn't. You waited for Karma to turn the block before opening up the door to walk upstairs.
"Where the hell were you?" your brother speaks before you opened the door to your room. "Practicing piano." you answer. "For 3 hours?" he quirks a brow, unamused. "I got carried away I guess." you look back to your door. "I know you don't like lying, so tell me the truth, Y/n."
"I practiced piano, then went to a cafe to study." you say, leaving out the Karma part. "With whom?" Gakushuu kept pressing on. "A friend." you knew he'd get the truth soon, but you still were going to put up a fight.
"Akabane." he scowled, "I knew it. Why do you hang out with him anyway?"
"Why not? He hasn't done anything wrong...particularly..." you mutter.
"I'll deal with this later, I'm too tired to fight with you right now." Gakushuu groans and heads back to his room.
'Father must of given him a rough day today... good thing he isn't home yet.' you thought while getting ready for bed.

"COME ON, GUYS! YOU CAN'T WALK ANY SLOWER?" Kam yells out of breath.
"Not my fault you skip out every gym class." Nagisa murmurs. "Kam, we've done theatre together since the beginning of school, how are you tired?" you look back at the boy.
"THEATRE IS DIFFERENT! I CAN DO DANCING AND SINGING AND ACTING AT THE SAME TIME, BUT NOT RUNNING!!" Kameron points ahead and pants.
"Alright, we could walk a tad slower, couldn't we?" Nagisa pities Kameron. "Yeah! Walk slower!" Kameron agrees. "Last time E-class missed an assembly, we were forced to clean out the flower beds." Isogai adds in, "So we should get moving."
Kameron stops for a second before sprinting past you in a panic. Both you and Nagisa start sweat-dropping.
"I cant believe Akabane is skipping," you sigh in disbelief. "Yeah, I wish I had the grades to get away with that..." Nagisa says.
Karma had actually asked you to skip with him for the miraculous chance youd actually say yes. He knew you would turn him down, but there was no harm in asking...right? Thats what he thought at least.
Surprisingly, both you and Nagisa were able to avoid all the obstacles in your way...or maybe Okajima took care of all the obstacles beforehand...either way, you were almost to the main campus when Yoshida and Marumatsu started to fall down the cliff. You thought fast and tried pulling them both up.
"OH SHIT! HELP!" Marumatsu screamed. You slowly but surely were able to pull them up. Everyone around you knew that if they were to interfere with your concentration, you might let go of them.
"Thanks." Yoshida thanked you. You nodded while you made your way over to Kameron and Nagisa. You heard Terasaka yelling at them for being saved by a girl, which made you sweat-drop.
"Hey, anyone hurt?" Karasuma walks up to everyone resting on the ground. "I think we're mostly okay." Nagisa answers. "Good, no rush. In fact, at this rate we're making fairly excellent time." Karasuma checks his watch.
