The way Karma felt in that moment, was a feeling you had felt before. It was reason why you were in E-class. All the things that led up to that moment were so slow but so fast. It started when you met Kameron. The cast list.
That year, you were doing a play that originated in America, Beauty and the Beast, Although you were only in 6th grade, you by far had more experience than your other classmates. Kameron also happened to be talented for his age.
"Congrats on getting Belle, Asano!" Kameron said next to you. "Oh uh, thanks." you say startled. You wanted to compliment him as well but then he started talking again before you could say anything. It seems he didn't care whether he was complimented or not.
"I can't believe I actually got Cogsworth!" Kameron smiled, "Hey, since we have some scenes together...why don't we hang out sometime?"
"Uh, I'll have to ask my father." you mutter. You had a very hard time talking with others lately, having to do with the whole dead mom thing...
"Alright! I'll give you my number so that way we can talk! See ya, Asano!" Kam runs off after giving you his information.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Nagisa shouted out to Karma who was on the ground. The High schooler was about to take a swing at Nagisa, but Kameron jumped forward not thinking through the impact that would make both Nagisa and himself go down. The three boys ended up on the ground defeated while the high schoolers took you, Kanzaki and Kayano.
You continued to struggle, almost getting out. But once you were able to punch one of the high schoolers in the face, it was lights out for you.

'It's that classmate I met today... I didn't expect them to actually text back.'
You:
Sure. What time would be good for you?
Kameron:
No need to be so formal! Oh, and around 4:30-ish??
You: Alright, see you then... :)
'Eh, was the smiley too weird?? Well they used a smiley too so maybe not? I shouldn't of done that...'

You and Kameron started hanging out on the regular. You usually walked to classes with each other and started to become very close friends. You thought your mother's last gift to you was Kameron. You started feeling better and getting over your grief, because as long as you had Kameron as your friend, Everything will be okay.

"Are you okay?!" Kameron yells as soon as Nagisa wakes up. "My head hurts a little, but otherwise I'm fine." Nagisa chuckles dryly. "Let me check the back of your head just in case..." Kameron says while touching Nagisa's cheek. Kameron may have had an ulterior motive besides checking if he was okay...
"I can't believe this..." Karma mutters, salty and pissed as hell, "If only I didn't look back."
"Hey, you did your best. I sure as hell couldn't even take out one guy." Nagisa says. "Whatever." he replies.
