X. The Plan (Persephone)
The plan is very simple. I will use Athena and Artemis to be my reason for leaving the meadow. Just convincing my mother of this is the problem.
"Mother please, it would be great to study under them as they are Goddesses who have made an oath to never mate with another. If you don't want me to be a fertility Goddess then who else to study under than those who oppose it."
"You have a point there, but you are needed here Persephone."
"It would only be a few days out of the week, Demeter. She will still be able to learn all that she needs to under you."
"Well I supposed learning self-defense from those smarmy Gods like Apollo would be great for my daughter but only a few days out of the week and she is to be back before night fall."
"Done and done."
"Can we start today?"
"I suppose but again be back before night fall."
When we were out of earshot of mother, Artemis exclaimed, "Well that was easy."
"I told you the plan would work."
"Where is this entrance to the Underworld?"
"I'm not sure but I know it has to be somewhere around here. He said he would come." And just like that a dark figure came walking towards us.
It was him.
