Chapter 6: planning a murder

As Lady Arabella and Severus head back to the castle, lady Arabella ponders over the idea of having her mother killed. The idea is just bizarre even to the young princess. How could she create a plan so devilish and so heartless? How could a daughter want to get her mother killed? Is her plan worth it? What if her plan fails and her mom dies for nothing? No, she knows deep keep she won't fail, she just can't.

Lady Arabella is trained to not lose, it's been engraved into her mind that she has to win her battles. Lady Arabella tells herself that if push comes to shove she will start hunting down the other stones to acquire power. If she has more of the stones then she will become unstoppable. But that in itself is a little out of reach since she doesn't know where the other stones are.

The two continue to ride closer and closer to the castle to begin to put Arabella's plan into play. Lady Arabella can tell that Severus still doesn't want to help Lady Arabella with her plan. What choice does he have anyway? If he disobeys her she will kill him without hesitating and he knows it. The stakes have never been higher.

The two soon arrive back at the castle, they take their horses to their stable. Arabella puts Equidor in his royal stall. Severus took his horse to his stall with the other knights' horses. Lady Arabella lets Equidor into his stall and then leaves the stable. She begins to try to figure out how she wants to go about killing her mother. It would be better if I have someone kill her for me there will be less evidence that will lead to me. She thinks to herself. And if I want to get her killed then all I have to do is go to an enemy kingdom and hire someone to kill her. Yes that is the perfect plan indeed and with her fortune paying an assassin will be no problem.

The young princess walks to the castle so that she can change her outfit into something that isn't so royal, a look that will hide her appearance. There is a man in in enemy nation who would make a deal to kill a queen. She continues to make her way to the castle and walks through the back door. She walks through the castle heading straight to her dorm to find her robe.

Most of the knights are outside getting organized and prepped in case of war.

Arabella makes her way to her to her room and opens up her closet to find her old torn red robe. She got her hood from her mother last year as a gift for when she goes traveling. Although this hood will not be able to conceal her identity completely, she would need a spell to further hide her identity. That would be easy to get- the spell that is. Lady Arabella drops her dress to to the ground and grabs a small black shirt with a skirt and puts it on. she then grabs her red hood and puts it around herself tying it around her neck. This outfit makes her feel like she has been stripped of her royalty, she has to do this.

Arabella leaves her room and walks out of the kingdom to go to Equidor again. It was time she leaves the kingdom for a few days to put her plan further into play . All she really cares about is her fulfilling her plan, nothing else really matters to her now.

Lady Arabella gets on to her horse and begins to head out of the kingdom to begin her journey. It is going to be a long and probably boring journey.

Nightfall had soon come and Arabella found herself cuddled next to her in a small space in the woods nearby the path she was riding on. It feels weird to her being away from the kingdom. Lady Arabella lays her head on Equidors' body and relaxes. It's quiet tonight, almost too quiet. Suddenly a stick breaks in the distance causes Arabella to move startle. She quickly stands up and ignites a flame in each of her hands and looks around her. Who would dare sneak up Arabella?! She is a princess with a power beyond any man has ever see and is not threatened by anyone. She begins to walk towards the trees and asks "Who's there?! Come out cowards!" She shouts with the authority in her voice. Some more sticks crack in the distance and a low growl, it wasn't a human growl though it sounded more animal like. The fire on her hands becomes more intense and the stone on her chest glows brighter and brighter?

The stone starts to enhance Arabellas' ability to sense the energy around her. In the distance there is a black shape walking looking at the princess. Lady Arabella walks closer to to the think and notices it has black fur on it body, it has huge paws with long nails, its body is huge. Arabella comes to the realization that this is just a wild bear she has encountered, feeling relived she extinguishes the flames on her hands and relaxes.

Equidor stands up and walks over to Arabella and touches her arm. She turns around and pets the fur on his head.

"It's just a bear Equidor, let it be,"she tells him quietly. They both go back to the spot that they were originally sitting at. Equidor lays down and Arabella lays next to him cuddling up next to him. She forgot that she took no blankets or any supplies at all with her. Luckily, the stone provides the princess with warmth.
The man she is is going to pay to kill her mother is a very good assassin, while he isn't the best assassin he is a good one. This assassin isn't very well known while the best assassin is known by everyone in the world. Tomorrow she will go to the assassin and hire him, then after that the real plan begins!
