The Legend Of The Five Queens : Arabella's tale

Chapter 9: Time for her

The two arrive at Arabella's kingdom in the time span of 2 days. By now the two have become really hot and were thirsty. Their water supply had run out and the heat was getting to them. Even with Arabella's magic stone the heat was becoming unbearable. it would appear as though the stone can not cool down Arabella's body once it has reached a certain temperature. It seems as though the stone itself has limitations.
When she enters the Kingdom she is greeted by young children and other citizens in the Kingdom. She smiles and and reaches her hand out to the kids and touches their hands. The little kids look at her in awe and pet Equidor as they walk towards her castle. For Arabella this moment feels wonderful to her simply because this fuels her ego even more. Everyone here believes that Arabella is a great person, the best of the best. Sadly she is not as great of a person as they believe.
Equidor takes the princess to his stable and Arabella gets off of his back. She thanks him and pets his head before heading off to the doors that leads inside the castle. She tells herself that she needs to wash up and relax. Even though she is very desperate to become Queen, she knows that she must give herself some time to just not think about anything. She walks through the side doors of the castile and walks inside. There are guards positioned in the hallway. It would appear as though her mother has informed the guards to be on high alert. Perhaps negotiations are not going well for mother. She walks through the halls and climb the large stairway that leads to her bathing room. Thanks to her stone she'll be able to heat up the water and relax.
She is hoping that there is still water in the big pool-like tub. Surly the guards kept water in so that when the princess had returned she could get right into the water. She reminds herself that she can use her stone to heat up the water. She walks upstairs to the tub and to her surprise is full of water and steam is coming off the water. She smiles as she takes off her dress and steps into the water. Instantly the warmth of the water starts relaxing her muscles. Even her stone feels as though it is relaxing on her chest. She takes a deep breathe and relaxes, the thoughts of her plan has left her mind. She finally feels like she's at peace. Moving her arms around next to her, Arabella starts swimming to the window to look into the distance. The view is amazing to look at. The sight of nature is pleasing to look at, the world is so beautiful. Nature is so peaceful. It's all going to be rightfully hers someday.

The warmth of the water causes her to slowly fall asleep while in her tub with her upper body laying on the ground and her lower boy in the water. In her sleep everything is black. The fire stone appears and glows bright. A figure of a male being slowly fads into existence with his hands on both sides of the stone. The stone's glow fills the whole black space and an image of more stones flash. Arabella suddenly wakes up and almost falls back into the tub. Her heart pounds on her chest with the stone burning on it. "What did I just witness?" She's thinks to herself as she tries to catch her breath. She decides that she should get out of the water and go for a walk around the kingdom.

She swims over to the other side of the tub where her dress lays at. Putting her hands on the stone ground she slowly pulls herself out of the tub. For a second she thinks to herself that it would of been wise to get a towel before she got into the water. It is the least of her worries at the moment. She puts on her dress and leaves the room. Two guards are standing outside the room to make sure no one walks into the room. Arabella opens the door and smirks at the knights and says, "You boys didn't try to peak into the room did you?" The knight that stands on the left side of the door is a big guy. Arabella has heard that this man likes to hit on many of the women in the town. He is one that she will have fun playing with. The big Knight puts on a smirk and chuckles out loud.
"Im sorry my lady your beauty is so in measurable that I just had to get a glimpse​ of your naked body." She laughs at his comment and lays her hand on his chest playfully.
"Oh did you now?" She rubs her hand down his chest to mess with him more for her own amusement.

"Yeah that is so Princess." Arabella takes a step back and smiles more playfully at him.

"You know it is forbidden to look at me as I bathe without my permission yes?"

"Yes, Princess. It was worth breaking the law."

"Oh really?" She slowly raises her hand to call over the other guards to her. Before she completely raises her hand the other Knight that is standing at the door speaks,

"My Princess he is only joking around. We'd not dare to take a peak at you while you are in there." Arabella turns her attention to him and takes notice of his shaking body. Sweat is forming at his forehead and the look in his eyes tell her that he is afraid of her. The Princess keeps her smile and takes a step closer to the Knight.

"Yes I know he is only joking around. I was simply playing along with him. With that said she walks away from the door and starts descending down the stairs to start to get to work.
