Angel's P.O.V

My first instinct was to run away. Run far away and not look back. But I couldn't. His protective presence, laminating scent and deep stare kept me in place. He stared at me as if I was the most captivating thing he had ever seen. It was a stare of astonishment and awe. I could feel his scent grow stronger as I stared back at him but I didn't dare move.

A moment later, he walks up to the fox. I instinctively flinch and take a step back but he ignores my reactions and swiftly moves to the dead fox. He then bit down on its tail and starts to drag it towards me. I move out of the way, not wanting to get too close to him before he sets it in front of me and backs away.

"Eat." Shawn says to me through the pack link for everyone to hear. It made sense because private links are only between family and mated pairs. Or they can be created by a sorcerer, like Grey.

He's offering his kill to you, don't let this fox rot out here, it's been sitting out for too long. I will never forgive you if you don't accept it. This is good quality-"

"Ok! Just shut up Sol." I demand. I hesitate as I shift my gaze to the fox and sniff over it. I begin to scratch the fur coat with my sharp talons before I dug in and begin to eat. While eating, I see Shawn walk up beside me and I see as he feeds off of the fox too. I don't stop eating and continue to rip my meal apart.

Once I was done I let him have what was left of the fox. I watch as Shawn ravages the fox with no shame. I took this chance to look at the way his wolf was almost three times bigger than mine. His wolf is matte black with white crystal paws. The tips of his ears were white too which was strange for a wolf to have. At least for me, it was.

Once there was nothing left to eat Shawn discards the fox by kicking dirt and fallen leaves on top of it and around it.

"Thank you." I say sounding timid and shy. I didn't exactly know why I thanked him but it felt appropriate given the situation. Shawn didn't have to share the fox with me. No matter what I thought.

He then peers my way before walking toward me. This scene seemed all too familiar, only this time I couldn't hold my hand out and keep him away from me and there was no physical barrier behind me to keep me trapped. I am free to run away at any point. I could most likely outrun him and have him eat dust.

I hesitated to run away though. The closer Shawn got to me, the stronger his scent became. Shawn towers over me, much like the way he does when we are in our human forms. Seconds later he licks the outside of my mouth, which in turn makes me jerk my head in confusion. My shock doesn't stop Shawn from repeatedly licking my mouth and collecting the droplet of blood that surrounded it.

I falter to the touch of him. A shiver runs down my spine as I sit down to keep my legs from shaking, and take the licks that he was giving me. He licks from the corner of my mouth and works his way up to under my nose and then to the other side of my mouth.

Once I knew he was done and that the blood had to be gone from my mouth, Shawn doesn't stop his attack of licks on me. He has slowed down and settled for slowly licking over my canines with hunger. Each time he did, I would shudder internally in pleasure. I could hear nothing but the hammering of my heart that had to be easy to hear and the small steps coming from Shawn which meant he was slowly drawing closer to me.

A moment later, the sound of my tail hitting the ground breaks me from the confines of the little pleasure I was feeling from Shawn and causes me to stand back up on all fours. I wade my head away from him and back away slowly, but Shawn doesn't let me go easily. He makes his way to me, executing dominance, as he nuzzles his body against mine. I could feel Sol growl in delight as Shawn slides against me as if he had an itch that he couldn't reach.
