This may be wayyy wayyyy overdue but it's here! I've been waiting to write this extra for a very long time. Get Excited!!!!

Refresher: Grey and Shawn spent four hours in the library before they materialized from The MoonShine pack to Waafast so Grey could recharge his magic. Have you guys ever wondered what happened during that time?

Shawn's P.O.V.

"Even this conversation is exhausting," Grey says. "If I could, I would teleport out of here and away from you. So shut up and leave me alone. Respectfully," he conversed.

I pushed myself into my seat and lowered my head in defeat as I lazily laid my arms across my thighs.

A moment later, I hear the warlock in front of me snap his fingers out of nowhere. I look up in time to watch as his phone materializes on the table with an audible THUD. Did he use his magic to bring his phone to himself?

My thoughts turn murderous for a split second. I slam my hand on the table twice to get his attention. Grey, slowly looks at me, expressionless.

"Stop using your magic if you need it to teleport us out of here," What the hell is the point of waiting if he's going to use it?

He looked back down at the phone in his hands and then back up to me, his scowl of disgust started to show.

"A simple conjuring spell won't affect the amount of time we have to wait. Plus, what was I supposed to do? Get up and go get it?"

Yes. I want to roar.

I don't know why but I don't trust Grey to always tell me the truth. Honestly, his word is worth nothing to me. I've always been told that you could never trust a witch because they're more conniving than Dolos. Witches or warlocks live as long as Vampires do and sometimes even longer, thanks to their magic.

And more times than not, their emotions and empathy numb out. They tend to see nothing wrong with whose life they mess with or fate they seal. I would hate to live such a long life only to lose the part of myself that makes me human.

Right now, the life I care about is Angel's, and what I do know for a fact is that Grey cares for my mate as much as I do.

So, I focus on that to keep the irritation out of my voice. "Why would that spell not affect your magic but the other two spells or whatever do?"

"You don't know the first thing about magic, do you, Shawn?"

"Is there something you want to tell me?"

"Hm, no. But didn't I tell you not to talk to me anymore?"

"You told me a lot of things ever since I walked through those doors," I counter.

Grey didn't respond as he looked down at his phone. I watch Grey fiddle with the device for a long while. The next time he looks up I start talking again.

"What don't I understand about magic?" he rolls his eyes and sighs.

"What are you talking about?

"You said that I don't know the first thing about magic?"

He does a little shimmy and raises a brow. "Is magic something you want to learn? Albeit, I encourage you to say yes, I've heard you've been 'taking it easy' over the years from the mutts,"

His comment surprises me. The last time I was here, Grey had never talked to or even dared look at the pack members ever since he joined. He was literally seen as an outcast by everyone and feared by his kind to the point that they avoided him.
