"Michael, your phone is going off," Michael heard Luke call from the main room as he styled his hair for what he thought would just be one of the last days at the convention.

"Can you get it for me?" Michael asked of him. "My hair's being a bitch this morning," he groaned, trying to get his fading blue hair to do what he wanted. "And remind me to dye it again once we get home," he added.

Luke chuckled at the boy, still not really believing that the two were now more than friends. For once in his life (even if he probably should, and it sounds really messed up), he didn't regret self-harming or not being able to fall asleep, because otherwise, he wouldn't have stayed up and started burning, and Michael wouldn't have found him, and they wouldn't have woken up together and had a small make out session. If anything, he was thankful that his stupid brain didn't know how to shut down for a bit.

"Yeah?" Luke answered the phone after seeing it was Ashton that was calling and pulling it up to his ear.

"Michael? You sound different? Are you sick?" Ashton inquired, sitting on his bed as Calum finished getting ready.

"No, it's Luke. Michael's still fixing his hair," he corrected, laying down on his own bed, resting the hand that wasn't holding the phone on his stomach.

"It's being a bitch!" Michael exclaimed, still trying to get it anywhere near what he wanted.

"I think we've already been over this, Mikey," Luke chuckled.

"But we haven't with Ashton," he pouted, sticking his head out of the bathroom to jut his bottom lip out at the blonde. And boy did Luke wanna just kiss him for being so cute at that moment.

"Um, still here, boys," Ashton said, getting Luke's attention again; taking it away from the boy he had become so infatuated with.

"Oh." Luke blushed, even if Ashton knew nothing about him and Michael. "Sorry. Just tell me what you called for."

"Yes, yes. We're not going to the convention today."

"So... another free day?" Luke questioned.

"Nope, we're going to the park."

"Like, the playground or something?"

"Wrong again. Jesus, Luke, you're terrible at this. We're going to the amusement park, like, with rides and shit," Ashton informed him.

"Wait, why?" Luke definitely wasn't expecting him to say that.

"Because I forced you guys to go on this trip, plus I'm making you walk around some convention that you don't even give two shits about. You people deserve a break," Ashton explained. "Just be ready in ten in the lobby," was all he said before hanging up.

Luke sat up, still surprised that Ashton was not only allowing them to do this, but that he was the one that was enforcing it. Michael came out, finally having been able to get his hair how he wanted it.

"What did he say?" He questioned, sitting next to the blonde haired beauty.

"We're going to an amusement park instead of the convention today," Luke answered.

"Really?" Michael was as surprised and confused as Luke. "Why?"

"He said he thinks we deserve a break from the convention."

"Well, guess that means we could have some alone time," Michael whispered in his ear, placing his hand on the inside of Luke's thigh.

So this is how it's gonna be for the rest of the day, Luke thought.
