The salty ocean breeze filled Daisy Astor's nose as she sat in the sand with her friends. The bonfire still crackling softly.

A soft thud signalized to the blonde that she had a new companion by her side. Without looking she could smell Nicole's soft lavender scent.

"What happened D?" the dark-skinned beauty asked her friend, while the both of them stared at the fire.

"He kissed me and I kissed him back," Daisy stated bluntly, making Nicole gasp next to her.

"Excuse me?" the black-haired asked in shock.

"Yep," Daisy replied, popping the P, "and then some girl came and started a fight. Saying that he said to her that Deb Balls are stupid or something and that us Deb girls are Sheep"

"I will kill him," Nicole replied, throwing her arm around the blonde, "Actually kill him"

"No it's fine," Daisy signed, "It is better to detest him than to like him. I was so confused when we kissed and now I know that it means nothing. I guess my company at last summers Ball was just dreadful"

"Don't kid yourself, Daisy," Nicole replied, hugging the girl's side, "It was his big dream come true"

Before the blonde could reply, shouting from the side made her look up. A few feet away Conrad was starting to fight some random guy. Immediately the blonde stood up, ignoring Nicole's shouts to stop her..

"What your problem man?" the guy asked Conrad, "It's one beer. It's a party. Relax"

"What's going on?" Daisy asked, stepping between the guys but being ignored.

"No, give me my beer back. I paid for this," Conrad said, trying to get around Daisy.

"It's just a beer Conrad, just leave it be," Daisy grabbed onto Conrad's arms, trying to get his attention.

"Maybe you should listen to your Lady man," the boy replied, trying to get to Conrad.

"No. I'm fine," Conrad said, trying to get around Daisy again, "I said I'm fine"

"You don't sound fine, Conrad," Daisy said, trying to get him to look at her.

"He's a real big man," the guy teased, looking at the blonde, "Maybe you should come with me instead"

"Don't talk to her," Conrad said, growing angrier at the second, "Fuck you bro"

"What's your fucking problem?" The guy asked and Daisy grew more anxious the longer it took her to get in Conrad's way. She could still hear Nicole trying to get her to leave the situation.
