As she grabbed a fresh glass of bright pink vodka cranberry, she tried to scan for her brother; but obviously, when duty calls- Luke never backs down, Lacey rolled her eyes at the thought of that; fucking nasty.

She made her way through the crowd and decided that Calum possibly went to belconey; but to her surprise, he wasn't there.

The music grew louder, and her head ached even more; but it simmered down with butterflies each time she thought about how the boy had offered her to smoke with him; as he was never a people person; aside of the massive last min party he threw for his best friend; fucking weird if you ask Lacey herself.

She searched every inch of the house and couldn't find him. Jesus Christ.

She made her way to the roof top; through the apartment hallway as maybe that would be her last resort; it's a possibility he finished smoking already and that he forgot about her; so why the fuck is she giving so much effort into finding him; GOD.

"You fucking harassed me to give your stuff back and now I gave it to you so why are you still here?" A deep booming voice echoed the rooftop all the way to the stairs in which Lacey halted.

It sounded like one pissed off

"You know why I'm here." A bothered voice piped back.

"Yeah to fuck up my night." Calum mumbled; clearly didn't want to engage in this conversation any longer.

"Stop being so fucking delusional; how is this time different to all the other times you've sobbingly called me." The girl yelled with more anger.

"Jesus Christ fuck off and move on!" Lacey could tell Calum was about to self combust.

"Yeah keep lying to yourself Calum! Same fucken story every time."

"God- you always fucking talk but there's alway no sense." Calum was talking through his teeth.

"You'll just come fucking knocking on my door drunk and looking like shit the next day!' The girl retaliated.

A long pause shot the dark; Calum probably ignored the girl; pretending like she wasn't there.

Lacey tried to calculate who the girl was; probably a clingy ex; but she didn't recognise the voice; not a pleasant one to be around Lacey thought.

The girl he was talking to just aggressively grunted with a shriek and stomped away the opposite direction to where Lacey was standing in awkwardly.

When Lacey thought it was safe to continue up the stairs, her mind told her it was probably not a good idea to walk up to an aggregated Calum; but she ignored herself, like she always does.

As she walked up the stairs she found the boy stiffly slouched over; leaning onto the glass railing; looking out to the far city view; with again a full bottle of. Beer in one. Hand, and the other hand resting on his. Face; looking a bit defeated.

She hesitated for a bit; but continued to walk towards him.

Did he even want to see her? Does he even care about her? Or is lacey still a meaningless little soul towards him; who happens to be his best friends sister?

"Are you fucking deaf? Fuck-"

"Heyyy, it's just me. Lukes little sister, please don't kill me." Lacey stepped back an inch and put her hands up in a slight surrender; almost in a jokingly way.

"Oh- shit, sorry." Calum ran his finger s through is hair and scratched his nose to overcome his little mistake.

Calum continued to look out onto the balcony and sigh, taking a sip of his beer; but this time Lacey joined him.
