Calum's black leather boots thudded against the carpet as he briefly fixed his white shirt and leather jacket paired with black jeans. He fixed up his hair by running his fingers through his black curls as he met eyes with the other two dumbfounded beings opposite him.

"Was the door too boring for you?" Ashton sarcastically spat as he got up from his place and walked towards the other boy.

Ashton made sure to greet Calum by quickly nodding his head towards the boy; Calum did the same as scrambled to find his phone in his back pocket.

"No- I wanted to kind of see what it was like to climb a window..." Calum was fumbling around his words with sarcasm.

Lacey walked up to the two boys and smiled at Calum as he returned it; a little bit of some nerves settled in her stomach- she almost forgot why he even climbed through her fucking window when there was a perfectly functioning front door!

Ashton stared at Calum, waiting for him to cough up why he actually did this rupunzel act.

"So you climbed my window..almost dying in the process?" Lacey squinted her eyes, enjoying this little converse.

"Thank you." Calum looked down at the girl with a forced sarcastic smile as she proved Ashton's point of him hiding something.

Silence swept.

"Trying to avoid Lucy. She's been on me like a lost puppy!" Calum desperately pleaded his case.

Lacey smirked, knowing that of course Calum was trying to avoid Lucy and the measures he'd do to get away from her.

What a dorky idiot.

Ashton groaned as he rolled his eyes at Calum's stupid response. "I swear to god-"

"Did you not know she was coming here?" Lacey sarcastically questioned.

"I'll avoid her."

"Alright whatever, we need to go downstairs now! should of at least had some human decency in showing up a bit early?" Ashton smushed his cheeks together with his palms.

"What? I had to look good." Calum tucked his hair behind his ears as he took out sunnies from his pocket and put them on- clearly taking the piss.

Sure, he was taking the piss- but Lacey just couldn't stop- No.

"It's like I'm talking to a child!" Ashton threw his hands up in the air in defeat.

This was a fun show, lacey thought. She rarely saw Calum light heartedly joke around his friends- he was always so... serious. She didn't want it to end.

"Ash- you need a fucking beer." Calum scoffed.

And with that the two boys went on an arguing rampage that Lacey couldn't even make out- she was just happy she was away from Lucy.

The toddlers argument got cut short as Lacey's phone started to loudly ring from her bed.

As Lacey grabbed her phone all three of them made sure to look at who was calling.

Angie.

"Put it on loud speaker." Calum swatted his hand like he was nervous or something which made Lacey confused but she did it anyway.

"Lace have you seen Ashton? He told Lucy that Calum would come extra early to set up- now she's worried he ditched her." Angie was talking loudly over the music.

As soon as that sentence finished Calum death stared the boy next to him who pretended like he was looking at something behind him- making lacey smirk with some laughter.
