The warm sun rays spilt their way through the cracks of the thin white cotton curtains and beamed down onto a pile of used clothes that were all scattered amongst lengths on the carpeted wool sea floor. The clothing ranged from a white dress shirt to black dress trousers and swirled in between them was a familiar black mesh and baby blue silk dress where the sequins dazzled in the morning light. I'm guessing you know who this dress belongs to.

Let's make our way across the floor and onto the bed, the sun spilling all over the white sheets, which reached the skin of bodies that entangled and intertwined within each other.

The white sheets covered the smaller figure almost completely, like swallowing her whole. Her face was dug into the bare chest of a much broader figure. Her golden honey curls glowing in the sun covered most of the tattoos of the inked broader chest as her cheek laid gently on his chest. She was held in tight- muscular tatted arm wrapped around hers, as the body held her close to his chest; making sure her skin was almost meshing with his.

He was the first one awake, gently looking down at the girl who was cradled in his arms. Watching her breath slowly rise and deflate with her gentle light eyelashed clasped shut.

Calum then let go from the grasp of Lacey's arm cautiously and used the same hand to stroke her hair, lightly indulging his fingertips within her blonde locks. He then noticed that her hair covered most of her face and ever so gently he tucked the hair away from her face, brushing it back to her ear. Her hair carried warmth from the sun's rays which carried right through to Calum's heart. The corner of his mouth slightly curved as all Lacey did was scratch her nose and continue to fall back to her slumber.

Just them, together, skin touching, in this moment; and that's when Calum felt it most.

Happiness.

And he also felt it when Lacey told him that she loved him back. But it wasn't just happiness that filled his heart. It was also infected with bliss that for once made his head light and his heart skip the normal beat it was used to. And now he was here, with her in his arms.

The happiness was carried by small butterflies that faltered and pricked around his chest every time he looked down at who he was holding; who's head lay safely on his chest.

He never knew that this, right here, this moment, was in the cards for a guy like him. But things change when the numbness subsides and you start to let the other emotions in. You start to find the one you didn't know you needed all this time.

After what it felt like ten minutes rolling over one another as Calum just danced around his thought, rubbing his thumb on Lacey's forearm- but making sure he didn't wake her up, her light eyelashes fluttered up at him.

She slowly turned her head and slightly shifted her weight so she could easily meet his brown eyes. As Lacey's blue shining eyes met with his, in awe of how brightly lit they looked in the morning sun, he could feel the butterflies flutter even more rapidly in his chest and he couldn't help but smile down at her. He could get used to this.

That was also a new thing for him, smiling; he usually never did it- there was no need for it he thought; until.. well you know the story.

"What?" Lacey asked as a giggle escaped her lips, which caused Calum to smile even wider.

"Nothing," Calum shrugged coyly like he wasn't smiling at her in the first place, but that made Lacey giggle even more. "I can't look at my girlfriend?"

Lacey's heart thudded even faster, almost causing her to lose breath this early in the morning. The words rolling off his tongue sounded so natural and it was true, she was his girlfriend; although that had needed some time to get used to. Lacey still couldn't believe this crush had now landed her in his arms, his girlfriend.
