Y/N POV

The ringing of your phone slowly woke you up, and your head started to throb from the alcohol you drank last night. You heard Art groan at the noise and put a pillow on his head to conceal the noise. "Answer the phone Y/N. Too early," he grunted from his bed. You answered the phone groggily.

"Hello?"

You were surprised how energetic Erika's voice sounded early in the morning, "Y/N, can you pick me up before the wedding ceremony?"

"Good morning to you too. Sure, pero balik muna ako tulog ang aga pa." You hummed in agreement.

"Y/N, it's already quarter to 9AM. You and Art – "

"It's almost 9? Fuck." You cut her off.

"I'll call before I leave the hotel mamaya Erika. Need na naman ni Art magasikaso. Shit." You rapidly said and threw away your phone and made way to Art's bed, forcefully waking him up.

"Art! 9 AM na. Need na natin bumaba for breakfast buffet and magasikso. Shet hoy! Dali na! 1PM start!

"Tsk. You forgot to end the call Y/N." Erika ended the call once she heard you making haste to prepare.

-----------------------------

After making haste to have your breakfast and make-up done, you called Erika, informing her you'll directly drive to her house right now. The ceremony will start at 1PM, and you only have 30 minutes to spare.

"Why did you and Art drink kagabi? Eh kasal ngayon" Erika said as soon as she entered your car.

"Si Art kasi, di makatulog. Excited and nagoovethink kasi ikakasal na ate niya. So me being the good cousin that I am..." Erika laughed at your remark. "Decided to accompany him in drinking."

"Mygod. Any excuse just to drink talaga." She shook her head in amusement. You continue to drive, hoping you'll arrive before the ceremony starts.

"Yeah. Yeah. Shut up na."

-----------------------------

Thankfully you arrived minutes before the procession started. Your aunties kept on glaring at you, your uncle and grandparents laughed in amusement while all your cousins kept on laughing at how close you were to being late. The entire wedding ceremony was beautiful. You were more surprised when many guests attended the church ceremony than you anticipated.

"Y/N! Let's go na sa reception. Convoy tayo magpipinsan." You heard one of your cousins' shouts, and a hand kept waving at you, signaling you to go there. "Really. Feeling ko ililibing kami buhay lahat ng mga tita sa kalokohan namin" You inwardly winced, thinking how you will all get reprimanded for shouting at the church grounds. You jogged to where your cousins and Erika were and hit the one who shouted earlier. "Gusto niyo ba tayo ilibing ng buhay nga mga tita natin sa pinaggagawa ninyo. Tara na nga." Everyone laughed as you all prepared to leave the church.

Tricia's POV

"There's an increasing number of patients who suffer from bone fractures after a low-intensity trauma. Alarming most doctors with this kind of incident, I know there are a lot of experienced and talented doctors here and some lucky interns that their hospital has chosen to attend. But I want all of us to go back to one of the basic information regarding our bones – bones structures." The ortho doctor playfully said, and everyone laughed, bringing you back to the presentation.

"We all know what Lacuna is, right? In layman's terms, it simply means gap or the missing portion. How you take it in your everyday life, I have no idea, but, in our case, medically, it's the small pit or cavity occupied by the cells of calcified tissue."
