Y/N POV

"Hey, I'm gonna drive to New York after breakfast. It's been awesome with you guys" You warmly smiled at your friends while you finish your food before leaving.

"Will you permanently return in the Philippines or nah?" Frank asked, squinting his eyes at you.

"It depends..." You mumbled to yourself. "Undecided" You raised your hands in mock surrender while everyone just laughed at your antics.

"Just give us a call or message, 'kay?" Kristine said. "We're family"

"You know... stop being overdramatic. I'm gonna be back for the exam and my graduation in a few months time" you laughed, finishing you cup of coffee.

"Oh we know. But, you never know..." Arianne teased.

"You guys should just ask her" You shot back while grumbling to yourself.

"Maybe we will!" Arianne challenged.

"Okay. That's enough teasing you guys." Kristine butted in, trying to finish her breakfast in peace.

Once you're done with your coffee, you stood up, plate and mug on your hands, intent to put the dishes you used away.

"Let it be Y/N. I'll do the dishes" James held your hand and took the dishes away from you. "Start saying your goodbye to others. I'll be back" he smiled and walked towards the kitchen.

After a few moments of small talks with everyone untill they all finish their breakfast, they all walked you towards the door. Kristine being the closest to you, pulled you into a big hug, prompting the others to do a giant group hug, jumping up in down, making you laugh earnestly.

"Guuuuys, stop hahaha Stooooop" you laughed.

"Congratulations future atty/boss"

"Congrats CEO. Hire me when I'm in the Philippines"

"Congrats Atty/Boss Y/N"

You laughed at their antics. Trying to free yourself from their grip to no avail. They only let you go once James returned from only god knows where.

"Here Y/N. This is from us. Hopefully, you'll like it" James raised both his hands with a sealed envelope.

"Thank you guys. But really, you didn't have to" You breathed, flushed from the assualt that your friends did earlier.

"Come on. Open it" James insisted and waited for you to take the envelope.

You gingerly take it from his hands, clearly not used to receive congratulatory gifts from anyone. You carefully looked at the envelope, trying to decide whether to open it now or later. Once you looked up, you saw your friends grinning at you so you tore it open.

"A plane ticket and a hotel voucher" You clocked your head in confusion.

"2 plane tickets and hotel vouchers. Anywhere you want as long as the airline has flights there and the hotel has numerous branches. You can use it anytime when you are free to leisurely travel and relax." James explained.

"I...wow. These are expensive" You shyly said. You felt your ears heating up from all the attention that your friends are giving.

"It's a collective gift from us" Frank quipped.
