Team Up
Hindi ako nakagalaw nung may pumutok na baril. I checked my body for a gun wound but nothing at nagulat akong makita ang duguan na Greyson, sabog ang ulo.
"We don't have much time, the police are coming." Biglang sabi ni Morse na nanggaling sa likuran nina Diana.
"Pano mo nalaman nandito ako." Tanong ko.
"Ask questions later." Hinawakan niya ng mahigpit ang aking kamay at tumakbo kami palabas ng hospital gamit ang fire exit.
Pagkalabas namin ng hospital may black van na huminto sa harap namin and the door slides open revealing the face of Sabrina.
"Get in!" Sabi niya at pumasok kaming lahat. Umupo sa passengers seat si Morse at kaming lahat ay nasa likod.
"Teka nga, Paano niyo nalaman na nandito kami." Sabi ko habang tinatyaga ang sakit sa tagiliran ko.
"I put a tracker on the bracelet before i secretly put it on you." Sagot ni Morse.
"Para makasigurado na hindi niyo itatakas at nakawin yung bracelet." Sambit naman ni Sabrina. Tsk! Kung makasabi akala mo hindi niya rin nanakawin yung bracelet.
"We don't trust you guys." Dagdag pa niya.
"Mas lalo kaming hindi nagtitiwala sa inyo, ibaba niyo nga kmi baka saan niyo pa kmi dalhin." Sabi ko habang hawak ang handle ng pinto.
"Leave or die." Seryosong sabi ni Morse habang nakadikit ang mata sa'kin.
"Oh you're threatening me now?! I don't get easily scared from a guy like you Morse. I'm better than you." Sambit ko and he scoffed.
"Oh really, if you ARE better than me then who ended up getting shot and brought to hospital. Mhm?" Sabi niya at bumuo ang inis sa loob ko.
"Alam mo, angsarap mong suntukin Morse." Naiirita kung sabi and he chuckles.
"Go on then, punch me." Sabi niya at nilapit ang kaniyang mukha sa'kin.
I balled my fist and punch him.
"What the hell is that for!" Galit niyang sabi while clenching his jaw.
"Sabi ko eh." I rolled my eyes and Sabrina did the same to me.
"Why don't we just kill them Morse, they're just a bunch of imbeciles." Sabi ni Sabrina.
"What did you just say?" Saad ko.
"Oh nothing." Pangiinis niya habang naka smile.
Sasampalin ko sana siya pero tinigilan ako ni Diana.
"That's enough ate, you're not healed yet. Look." Sabi niya at tumingin sa sugat ko na may bakas ng aking dugo ang hospital dress na suot ko.
We stopped to like a private airport at nagsilabasan na kmi sa van.
"Why are we here." Biglang tanong ni Shiela.
"This is the rendezvous Shiela, Mr. K is here." Sabay naming sabi ni Morse and i scowl as he looked at me coldly.
"Kailangan talagang sabay sabihin." Sabi ni Diana habang nakangiti at inirapan ko naman siya.
"Just shut up sis." Sabi ko at hinawakan ko naman ang aking sugat nung naka ramdam ako ng sakit pero hindi ko pinahalata sa lahat lalo na kay Morse 'cuz i don't want him to think I'm affected by a single bullet.
"Give me the bracelet." Seryosong sabi ni Morse at hinawakan ko nman ng mahigpit yung bracelet na suot ko.
"Why." Saad ko.
"I'm the one who'll give it to Mr. K." I scoffed and put my hands behind my back.
"Not a chance Morse, i'll be the one who will give this bracelet to him." Sabi ko at hinablot ang baril sa waist belt holster ni Diana at tinutok sa kaniya at sina Sabrina ay tinutokan din ako ng baril.
"Don't come any closer." Sabi ko and he just lift his chin up and stare down at me, coldly.
"There's no need to point a gun to each other." I turned to the owner of the voice.
"Mr. K." Saad ni Star.
"Hello Star and to everyone especially the both of you." Sabi ni Mr. K habang nakatingin saamin ni Morse.
Binaba ko ang baril at binalik kay Diana dahil tatanggalin ko yung bracelet sa kamay ko.
"Here's the object sir, Diamon Panther Bracelet." Saad ko and he carefuly took it and study it for a moment before placing inside a black case Miss Ice holding.
"Great work from both of your team and impressive effort securing the item." Sabi ni Mr. K.
"What are we going to use as transportation back to the organization." Saad ni Clark.
"Oh you're not going back, i have a new mission for all of you." Sabi ni Mr. K.
"Now It's getting fun." Mahinang saad ko.
"Here's the file for your next mission." Sabi ni Miss Ice.
"A group of archeologist discovered the lost Crown of Hera-" Hindi natapos ni Mr. K ang sasabihin
"Hera as in the Queen of Olympus in Greece? But she's just a myth. It's impossible." Sambit ko.
"Well looks like it's real and they have proof." Sambit ni Morse.
"Shut up Morse, I'm not talking to you." Sabi ko and he just scoffed.
"You're right Phoenix but they've studied the crown and confirmed its origin which leads them to the greek mythology and found a small clue to prove that the myth exist. So, two days from now they will bring the crown to the National Museum and the worst part is, there's another group na may gusto rin sa Korona na yun and once they have the crown in their possession they will sell it to the black market and start an Auction." Sabi ni Mr. K
"So it seems that we need to get that crown before them." Sabi ni Morse.
"Yes but no one should know that the Crown is stolen." Saad ni Mr. K
"We're gonna replace it with a fake one." Sabi ko.
"I can make an exact replica of the crown if only i know what it looks like." Saad niya.
"Then we give you one." Sabi ni Morse
"How." Tanong ni Diana.
"This is the key to the safe house the organization bought for this operation, all the gears and everything you need is in that house, this mission needed all your efforts together so i expect both team to work together." Sabi ni Mr. K sabay abot ng susi kay Morse.
"Woah teka lang, what do you mean Work together." Sabi ko.
"You're gonna be working with each other, Morse and Firebird team up. I can't stay here any longer. Good luck." Umalis na si Mr. K
"This is absurd! We're gonna work with each other?" Naiirita kung sabi.
"Why, do you have problem with that?" Seryoso niyang sabi habang naka titig sakin.
Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.
"Yeah, I'm not gonna team up with you."
"Oh really? Then why did we accomplished the first mission TOGETHER, have you forgotten?" Sabi niya.
"Ate that's enough, let's just team up and i hate to say this but we can finish this mission quickly if we work with them. Wag nang ma pride ate." Sabi ni Diana at inirapan ko siya.
"Fine! But on one condition."
"Anything." Sabi ni Morse.
"We're gonna plan the whole thing together, you and me. I'm not letting you lead the group, i should lead too." Sabi ko.
"Deal, alam ko namang gusto mo lng mapalapit sa'kin. Just admit you can't resist my charm." He winked and chuckle as we ride the van to the address of the Safe House.
