We arrived at Olympus, and indeed, it was being attacked, my army made a U shape and closed in a group of enemies, trapping them so they couldn't escape. It was tense, gold ichor on the floor, swords being swung in the air, arrows shooting above people's heads - it seemed like it would last infinity.
After the battle, we gathered up our weapons and we checked that every one was here, (thankfully everyone was) and we said our goodbyes and we headed off back to our kingdom. After we got back, everything was under control, my army got healed, the kingdom wasn't invaded or anything like that. While I was getting changed, I realised I needed to check on my sweet panthers, I strode to the where the panthers made their base and was greeted by cute furry friends. I truly loved my animals, and I was glad my life turned out like this, I definitely fathered this life than the one in Olympus 2 years ago, but something that bothered me is that,I never saw Dionysus battling, I was confused on where he was. I though maybe I should go to Olympus to go check on him. Then again, that would be extremely random, go visit a guy that despises you because you didn't see him fighting! But then again, it makes perfect sense.
"Girls, I am leaving to go to Olympus for a bit, Izah you are in charge for now and are responsible of the kingdom, I trust you!" my voice echoed as I left.
As I walked through the bustling sidewalk I noticed someone I recognised - my gross step-mother.
I look down hoping she didn't notice me, thankfully she didn't and I continued my way to Mount Olympus. After arriving to Olympus, I headed straight to the vine garden where this time I was surprised to see that no one was there... but instead, Apollo was.
"Hey, Apollo, do you perhaps know where Dionysus is?" I whispered to his ear.
"By the oak tree over there," he pointed to a tree, and in fact, Dionysus was there.
I walked over to him and asked, "Where were you when Olympus was being invaded?!"
"I couldn't go. Okay? So if you could just leave me alone! It would be great!" he hissed back at me.
"No. I am not leaving until you explain why you couldn't go." I argued, sitting down next to him.
"Fine, but after this you will go back to your animals sanctuary and leave me alone! Deal?" He scowled.
"Deal." I smirked. After he explained everything, my mouth so wide open you could fit a bowling ball inside. So, basically, he isn't allowed to battle because Zeus thinks he is too weak after a battle that happened a millennia ago. He did one simple mistake, and BOOM he lost his privilege! How dumb?! So after that he basically HATES Zeus. I see why. Spite swirled in my mouth as I stomped to where Zeus was sat on his throne. I couldn't believe he treated him like that! No wonder he doesn't trust anyone! His own father, betrayed and called him weak for one mistake he did, it wasn't even that serious, Dionysus doesn't deserve this, so I'll put him in his place.
"HEY! Zeus." I spat, with anger in my eyes.
"Oh, hey, Selene, can I help you?" he answered cheerfully. He wasn't going to be cheerful in a second after I break his nose!
"Earlier when the invasion was happening, I noticed that Dionysus wasn't fighting, and I went to ask him why." I said, glaring into his evil, malicious soul.
"Oh. Uh. What did he tell you?" Zeus' tone turned nervous. I told him everything, he seemed upset and angry.
"If you just excuse me a second, I'll go talk with Dionysus!" he smiled, obviously faking it.
"No. You are staying right here with me after I deal with you and your selfish personality!" I yelled, punching his square in the face, knocking him to the ground. I didn't notice that Aphrodite - my own mother - was watching me beat his godly butt.
After all that commotion, I left Olympus for good.
