All for You

Chapter 8

Ash looked at the four people who just walked into his dorm room. He somehow knew every single one of them. The one who spoke was Paul. Beside him was Gladion, and on the other side of him was Alain. Finally, there was Tierno. He didn't seem quite like his cheerful, dancing self, though. He almost seemed... scared. 

Ash turned his attention back to Paul, who was angry. Before he could reply, Gary spoke up. "Sorry, were you trying to go to sleep at 3 in the afternoon?" Gary walked up to Paul. Paul was a little taller than him, but Gary's spikey hair made up for it.

Paul somehow got angrier. "I was trying to read when I heard you shouting at the top of you lungs." Paul stepped closer to Gary. They were glaring at each other intensly when Ash stepped in between them.

"Whoa, clam down guys." He turned to Paul. "Sorry Paul, we were sharing some... interesting stories from our pasts and it got out of hand." He looked around Paul to adress the others in the room. "Wow, hey guys! Are you in the dorm next to ours?"

Ash expected a 'Yeah!' or a 'yes,' but instead got even more commotion. 

"You know Ash?"

"Ash, you know them?"

"Have you met Ash before?"

"Ash, just how much have you travelled?"

"Ashy-boy, what the heck!?!"

"Hey Ash!"

"Who are these guys?"

"Ash?"

The room was filled with teenage boys shouting. But on Ash's bunk, Pikachu was still trying to take a nap. He woke up to see Ash sweatdropping in a shouting room. "Pika?" So Pikachu did the only thing he thought to. 

At the same time, one of the pokeballs on Ash's belt was shaking. Lucario sensed Ash's distress using aura and thought he'd come out of his ball to help out. Unfortunatley, he came out with just enough time to confuse everyone further before...

"Pika-chuuuu!!!"

Everyone in the room was hit with a thunderbolt. After a moment of getting fried, they all fell to the floor, charred with afros. 

Ash was the first to stand up. He quickly shook off the (hehe) ash and looked around the room. Luckily, the thunderbolt didn't ruin any of the furniture since the thunderbolt was aimed at the people. Unfortunatley, the people didn't look so good. Everyone was on the ground twitching and charred. 

"Pikachu, thanks for trying to help buddy, but next time turn it down by about 8." He scratched Pikachu behind the ears.

"Pika.." Pikachu grinned sheepishly.

Lucario was up a few seconds later. He shook it off quickly since he sparred with Pikachu often, and turned to Ash.

"Did you come out to help to, Lucario? Thanks!" Ash smiled at the pokemon.

"Lu cario!" Lucario smiled at Ash, then returned to its pokeball.

After this, everyone had recovered and calmed down. They all agreed Ash should introduce the dorm's current occupants to each other since he (somehow) knew everyone.

"This is Gladion. He's a really great battler from Alola and he's one of my rivals! This is Paul, he's also a rival of mine from Sinnoh who's really tough. This is Tierno, one of my rivals from Kalos and he has awesome rythm which he uses in battles! And this is Alain, a mega-evoloution trainer from Kalos who works with Professor-er-Vice Principal Sycamore. We were also rivals." 

Ash took a moment to realize that he knew every single person in the neighboring room, and that they were all his past rivals.

Ash then gestured to his dorm room's residents. "This is Goh from Kanto, he wants to catch one of every single kind of pokemon. This is Drew, he's a pokemon coordinator from Hoenn. And then there's Gary from Kanto. He's a pokemon researcher, though he used to be a pokemon battler."
