Jessie, James and Meowth were twidling their thumbs in the basement of the building.

"How did we capture the Twerp and do exactly what the boss wanted, but still end up in the basement?" Jessie complained.

"I don't think we're down here because we failed. We were only supposed to make sure no one comes in." James noted.

"Which is just another way of saying 'stay out of the way'." Jessie countered, fiddling with a dusty, broken robot part that lay on a nearby table.

"Owr, it meawns dat dere's somding down ere dat needs guardin." Meowth countered.

James picked up the thread. "And if something needs guarding, it's important or valuable!"

This piques Jessie's interest. "Valuable?"

The trio looked at each other. "Let's get looking!"

They sifted through old scrapped robots and half-empty boxes filled with more dusty junk.

They spent about fifteen minutes looking before James noticed an area that looked a bit less dusty than the reset of the basement.

He shifted away some of the boxes and lamps to approach the area, and lifted up a large tarp with a whoosh, blowing up lots of dust.

When the dust settled and he stopped coughing, he took in the strange object under the tarp. It was the size of a small fridge and had multiple wires sticking out of it. There was a digital readout on it as well, but there weren't any numbers displayed.

"Jessie, Meowth, have a look at this curious contraption." He called.

"What did you find, James?" Jessie wondered aloud as she moved towards Jame's side of the basement.

"It looks kind of like a the other robots, but there aren't any limbs or comtraptions other than these wires or readouts." James noted.

"Now dat you mention it, James, it dawsn't wook wike da uder wrobots en ere."Meowth agreed.

"It kinda looks like..." Jessie began.

James, now terrified, finished. "... a bomb."

Just then, the digital readout began a countdown from 13 minutes.

Jessie, James and Meowth looked at each other for a moment before screaming and running back towards the door. They ran faster than they ever had before in their life, charging up the many flights of stairs to head to the roof, where their hot air balloon was.

After a few minutes of racing, they finally got to the roof. They headed towards the last place they had seen their balloon, on the other side of the roof, but were inturupted when they ran into a very dramatic scene.

They saw Arceus unconsious on the roof, laying on top of multiple burn marks and covered in soot.

And beside him was none other than the Lucario and the Twerp, who was petting Pikachu in his lap. He didn't look so good, but was smiling nevertheless.

Team Rocket hid behind the corner of the building, spying on him as he answered a call on his phone.

"Do you think the Twerp knocked out Arceus himself?" Jessie asked, bomb all but forgotten.

As if to answer her question, the twerp talked to someone on his phone. "I defeated Arceus, and he broke through Giovanni's mind control."

Jessie, James and Meowth tried not to express their suprise audibly.

They continued watching the Twerp, wondering if any more information would be revealed. Such as what happened to their fellow Team Rocket agents, or why on Earth Arceus was there.
