"As much as I hate to break up this shocking turn of events, there's something a bit more shocking going on outside," I say after taking a quick glance over my shoulder.
"What is it, Daughter of Coul?"
"Daughter of- nevermind. There's a tornado looking thing outside, so I suggest we take cover."
Everyone turned their attention to the window, "Was someone else coming," asked Darcy.
"No," said Lady Sif as she and the others flooded outside.
"Jane," Thor spoke, "you have to leave."
"What are you going to do?"
"I'm staying here."
"Thor's going to fight with us," exclaimed Volstagg.
"My friends, I'm just a man. I'll only be in the way, or worse, get one of you killed. But, I can help get these people to safety."
"Well," Jane spoke up, "If you're staying, then so am I."
"We'll need some time."
"You'll have it," I said, "I'll head towards the S.H.I.E.L.D. temp station and clear people on my way there. Lady Sif, Warriors Three, please follow me to the edge of town and wait for...whatever this is there."
We had been walking for a minute when I heard a voice in my comms, "Rosemary, come in, Agent," it was dad.
"This is Rosemary, what's up," I waved on the others and slowed my walk.
"There's a danger heading your way."
"Yes, I see it," The Warriors Three were engaged in battle.
"Civilians?"
"Cleared. Property Damage, extreme."
"Got it. Did you see anything suspicious in the town?"
"Just some more people like Thor."
"Huh. How are you handling the situation?"
"I'm not, they are, and they're doing great," Thor started walking towards the threat, "but maybe not for long. I'll talk in a minute."
"We need to fall back, come on," Fandral led me away from my post.
"But I can help, let me help," I pleaded.
"He won't let you," said Sif right as Thor got launched into the air.
Movement. Not from something near, something far. I'd felt it before, caused it. I was not the cause this time. Flying. The satellite, the hammer. You could feel the static in the air. Lightning arched across the sky. I ran to Jane and pulled her off of Thor. Protests. Dr. Selvig held her back. Boom. It was a sight to behold. Thor stood, full battle armor, just before engaging in battle with the unknown thing.
He won (duh).
I turned to Sif, "What the fuck just happened?"
"His banishment ended."
"Oh," yeah, because I understood that.

June 10th, 2011

Thor and Co. left, S.H.I.E.L.D. gave Jane, Darcy, and Dr. Selvig their research back, and rebuilding had started in the lovely town of Puente Antiguo, New Mexico. After clearing the site, dad and I made a trip to S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters in NYC. Why? I didn't know, but it was packed. We got packed into one of the many labs of the buildings along with other level 7+ Agents, which Uncle Nick was already waiting in.
"Attention," he said, immediately drawing the room's attention, "I am happy to announce two things at this spontaneous meeting. One of which being the recovery of the late Captain Rogers and the research of something of pure power should we learn how to tap into it. By we, I mean the highly skilled and intelligent Dr. Selvig and others, and by late, I mean Captain Rogers is alive, but barely. He is being closely monitored by some of the best doctors in the nation."
There were some gasps of shock and confusion, but no one seemed to be upset.
"My second announcement is the promotion of one of your fellow agents. She has gone above and beyond on all of her assignments and missions and has worked harder than most above her, including myself. Agent Rosemary Coulson, congradulations, welcome to level 9.
