It was six a.m. I leapt out of bed and sprinted down the hall to Agent Coulson's room and burst in. "Happy thirty-fourth birthday Uncle Phil," I yelled at the top of my lungs. He shot up, confused as to what was happening. I yanked him out of his bed and into the kitchen. He sat at the counter and rubbed his eyes in an attempt to wake up. I skipped over to the fridge and pull out a chocolate cake that Uncle Nick had helped me bake earlier in the week. I sat the cake down and began singing the birthday song. I didn't put candles on the cake because I'm not allowed to play with fire, but Uncle Phil seemed to love it anyway!

"Uncle Phil," I tugged on his jacket sleeve, "Where are we going?"
We had been walking for almost fifteen minutes, and my Anastasia dress was starting to itch and I did not like it. "We are going to meet a woman who helped found S.H.I.E.L.D," he stopped and kneeled down to get to my level, "She is very old, seventy-seven, to be exact, so just know that she may not hear everything you say and you may have to repeat things quite a few times." He stood back up and we continued walking again. It wasn't long before we arrived at a door, which Uncle Phil knocked on. No more than thirty seconds later, an old woman with grey hair opened the door.
"Agent Carter," Uncle Phil said, a bright smile on his face, his voice slightly louder than usual, "It's very good to see you again!"
"Ah, Phil," the woman, who I now knew is Agent Carter, said. Her voice was soft yet strong, she also had an accent which I believe was British, "Please, do come in," she turned and led us into her living room, "Would either of you like something to drink? And sit down, make yourselves comfortable."
"Water would be nice," Uncle Phil turned to me and I nodded, "make that two glasses of water, please!"
The sweet woman walked back in with three glasses of ice waters on a tray. Uncle Phil took two of them and handed one to me. As Agent Carter sat down she began to speak, "Now, tell me, who did you bring with you?" Agent Carter knew who she was speaking to, she named the kid.
"This is-"
"Hi! I'm Rosemary Margaret, but you can call me Peggy," I exclaimed suddenly with a large smile on my face.
"Well aren't you just the cutest? Oh, and we share a name, I'm also a Peggy," she stated, then looked at Coulson, "Is she yours?"
"No, well not by birth, I want to adopt her at some point. We don't know who her father is, but her mother died about ten days before we found her. A nice lady had taken her in, said she found her on her trip to Italy almost nine years ago. Fury and I found her on a mission, abandoned. We did some research and found her mother was never married and had no other family. Peggy, she was almost a year old when we found her. We had taken her back to the base with the full intention of giving her to an orphanage, but I couldn't, I became too attached. So, now, we have a mini agent!"
"Has she begun training yet?"
"Not yet, she starts in December. She will, however, begin injections of the Super-Soldier Serum in very small doses. Our hypothesis is that by introducing her body to the serum in small doses before the full immersion, then the procedure will be less painful. There will be eight years between the first injection and the full immersion, and then another two months before she should be completely combat-ready; however, I would like to keep her off the field unless she is needed as a last resort."
"I take it you've recreated it then?"
"We sure hope so."
