After the last night, the group was shaken up from everything that has happened. We didn't know what else could happen to all of us. We almost didn't want to know. I woke up early and saw the dawn as the light from the sun shone through the barn doors. It was really pretty actually. Judith was awake as well as she was held in Rick's arm. She stared at me most of the time she was up. She was so cute she was lucky to have such wonderful people to love her and care for her unconditionally. The barn was filled with all of us on the floors sleeping soundly. It was the most peaceful thing that happened after all the weeks that passed by. I sat up in bed realizing I wasn't going to sleep anytime soon I looked to my side to see Daryl sitting against the barn wall wide awake. I quietly crept over to him as I stared off into nothingness. I sat next to him quietly he continued to stare in front of him ignoring my presence.

"I'm sorry," I said quietly as a tear fell from his face. "Everything going to be okay I promise. I always keep my promises." I said lightly before Maggie woke up and walked over to use quietly and sat on the other side of Daryl.

"You should get some sleep," Maggie said as she saw Daryl's eyebags.

"Yeah." Daryl agreed in a hushed voice almost unhearable.

"It's okay to rest now," Maggie said as she stared at Sasha across from her.

"He was tough," Daryl said casually referencing Tyreese.

"He was." I agreed quietly.

"So was she. She didn't know it but she was." Daryl said as he put his face into his hands remembering Beth. Daryl then reached over to my side to grab the music box as he handed it to Maggie.

"The gearbox had some grit in it." He said as he put his face out of his hands.

"Thank you," Maggie said as she smiled ever so slightly. Maggie then walked over to Sasha lightly waking her up from her light sleep. "Come on," Maggie said to Sasha and me.

We tried quietly to open the door seeing the now dead walkers as she washed away due to the heavy rain. We walked slowly through the trees that had fallen as the walkers were smooshed by them or being hung from the branches. In a sadistic way, it was kind of beautiful. It was a chapter closing, a new start. Death to once was. We crept to a nearby tree looking off at the sunrise with the blue and light pink coloring as the sky as the sun peaked through the field of grass. We all sat on a log that had been knocked over by the rain as we started off at the scene before us. It was alluring dragging you in the more you watched as if you were being sucked in by a new day.

"Why are we here?" Sasha questioned as put down her gun against the log.

"For this," I said quietly as I smiled seeing the view.
