"You know... I've always had this dream that really big family. I'm talking like, a full brood, five or six Harringtons." said Steve as he was behind the wheel of the trailer we had stolen not long ago. The look in his eyes was dreamy, more than I've ever seen it, I could tell that he really wanted what he was talking about.

"Six?!" I asked,my tone filled with both surprise and confusion. I knew that he had a hard life, despite his family being wealthy, but I never knew he wanted THAT much of a big family. We've been together for two years now,a ND yes, we've talked about our future together, I knew he wanted kids, what I didn't know he wanted six.

"Yeah, six little nuggets, 3 boys and 3 girls, I figured out we've already had some practice." Said Steve as he pointed with one hand towards the back of the trailer to all of the kids sitting there anxiously,not knowing what's about to come our way.

" And also, every summer we'd pack up everything and travel,you know,to see the country. The Rocky Mountains, The Grand canyon, Yellowstone and then we'd end up in some beach town in California, laying on the beach, enjoying our live with our kids. Just a big happy family. Something I've always dreamed of but never had." Steve continued talking and I couldn't help but admire his truthfulness. With everything we've been through I couldn't help but dream a little as well.

"You know what, if we make it out of this mess alive, we'll go wherever you want,do whatever you want,and maybe,maybe I will think about those six little nuggets you just told me about. Maybe not six, because that sounds like a total nightmare but I think we'll be able to compromise." I said, with a warm smile I took one of his hands in mine giving it a light squeeze.

"If we make it out alive I promise you I'm going to marry you and give you the life you've always wanted. Both of us had hard lives in our own way, and I plan on ending this circle. I want to be a better man,a better father than mine,and I know that with you by my side I can't do that." Replied Steve, giving me a quick glance and then returning his eyes on the road immediately after.

Every now and then I'd come back to this moment all those years ago. Sadly, not all of us made it out alive, we had lost Max and Eddie, I almost lost Steve as well if we hadn't been there to help him get away from the demobats.

As the years passed our small town moved on, nobody really remembered the events that occured 10 years ago,all the horrors that we went through. But we did, our small group never forgot the loved ones that we lost and all the sacrifices that we've made. Steve's dream was slowly coming to life.

We all made a pact after everything ended, wait for the younger ones to finish high school, then everyone could go on their separate ways,but we shall never forget,and if someone ever needed something,we promised that we'd be there.

Here we are now, in Crescent City, in California,the beach town Steve mentioned that day all these years ago.

"Maxine,come back here this instant!" I heard the voice of my dear husband call for our 4 year old daughter from the upper floor of our house.

"No!" Maxine's sweet voice was heard from somewhere as a response to her dad's call, making me laugh.

We were about to leave for the beach but it seems like Steve had a problem with getting our little girl dressed. She's been like that since day one, I remember the first time he had to change her diaper and she was swinging her little chubby legs so much that he couldn't do anything except to struggle.

"Mommy" I heard another familiar voice, this time calling for me.

Getting out of my thoughts I saw the small frame of my other angel peeking from behind the hallway's walls.

Edward, or Eddie as we called him, after my late brother, was a sweet but shy boy, he tends to keep quiet while his sister goes all out most of the time.

I found out I was pregnant with twins soon after we had left Hawkins, at first I was scared and confused, not knowing if I'd make a good mom, but then I remembered that Steve was going to be right by my side every step of the way and my worries disappeared. When they were born we decided to name them after our late friend Max and my brother to honor their lives and keep their memory alive and with us all the time.

I was so emotional the moment I saw their small faces that nobody could change my mind of giving my children the names of two brave and amazing people that I knew would be so happy if they had the ability to meet my children. Eddie would have been an amazing uncle and a huge support for me during the hard times in my pregnancy,and Max would have been the cool aunt that everybody loves even if she tried to act cold most of the time. I know that somewhere out there, their souls are watching over us and keeping us safe.

"Yes,my angel?" I asked as I stood up from the couch I was sitting on and headed in his direction, picking him up and giving him a few kisses on his puffy cheeks and he squeezed his big brown eyes shut, he resembled my brother so much I couldn't even describe it. I was happy that I had a reminder of Eddie even when he was long gone from our world.

"Can you help me find my teddy, mommy?" Asked Edward in his sweet angelic voice that I couldn't say no to.

"Of course my angel, let's go find Teddy and then we're going to the beach with daddy and Maxie!" I said as we headed towards his room to look for the small teddy bear that was a gift from Dustin when our twins were born four years ago.

"There he is,angel! You probably dropped him while you were asleep, seems like we're done here." I said, still holding my son as we exited his room and went searching for Steve and Maxine.

"Steve? You ready babe?" I asked as I found him on the floor of our bedroom as he was putting socks on Maxine's feet.

"Yeah, yeah we're done here. Little missy decided she wants to put up a challenge for her dad, didn't she?" Said Steve as he grabbed the giggling girl in his hands tickling her belly as she let out loud laughs.

"Then let's go! We're already running late, we promised the others that we we're going to be there at 11, it's 11.40 now!" I said as I took one of the bags we were taking with us to the beach.

"Okay,okay we're leaving right now, come here Max!" Steve said as he scooped up Maxine in one hand and took another bag in his other hands. Rushing down the stairs we entered the garage, loaded the car and in no time we were on our way to the beautiful beach of Crescent City.

Today marked 5 years since we left Hawkins and all of our friends went on to live their own lives. Every year we visited one a city or town that a friend from our group lives at. This year it was time for our friends to finally see the place where we've settled and decided to raise our family at.

"You know, all these years ago, when we had our small talk about my dreams for the future, I never thought any of it would come true, but look at us now. I'm married to the woman I travelled dimensions with, literally, I have two beautiful children with her. I wonder what nineteen year old Steve would think if he saw us now." Said Steve and he took a hold of my hand like he always did when he was nervous or needed comfort.

"I'm pretty sure teenager Steve would be proud of what you've become, love. I'm happy that we were able to build the life we talked about all these years ago in that trailer we had stolen." I said as I smiles,once again remembering that moment,one of the last ones that I saw my brother alive as well.

" I promised to give you the world,and I'm set on keeping this promise until I'm alive and breathing." He said as he squeezed my hand lightly. "I love you so much, I'll never stop saying it." He added.

"I love you too,Steve,so much I don't think I can explain it with words." I replied as I leaned in giving him a small peck on the cheek as we traveled to our destination.
