Y/N POV

"Hey, Steve." Dustin said a bit breathlessly as he barged into Family Video while Robin, Steve, and I were watching the news. "You guys see this?" Steve asked, gesturing at the TV.

"How many phones do you have?" Dustin asked, ignoring Steve's question. "Someone was murdered." I continued from what Steve said. "How many phones do you have?" Dustin repeated, more urgently. "Uh—two, why?" Steve skeptically asked.

"Eh, technically three if you count keith's in the back." Robin said, pointing towards where we took most of our breaks. "Yea, three works." Max said shrugging as Dustin threw his backpack over the counter, sliding across it right after.

"No, no, no, no, Dustin my tapes." I exclaimed as he knocked all of them onto the ground. "What are you doing man?" Steve said, moving closer to Dustin as I leaned down to pick up the stack of tapes.

"Setting up base of operations here." Dustin said, as he typed on the computer. "Base of operations?" I asked as I stood up to sit the tapes back onto the counter. "No, get off of that!" Steve said.

Dustin ignored him mostly mumbling back an 'I need it.' causing Steve to turn around. "Uh, Y/N, please control your brother." He said gesturing to Dustin. I rolled my eyes, letting out a long sigh "Why do you even need it?" I asked, grabbing Dustin's shoulder to pull him away from the screen for a second.

"I need it to look up Eddie's friends' phone numbers." He said, pulling his shoulder away from me. I looked back at Robin as I felt my heart rate quicken. Dustin usually avoided mentioning Eddie around me since his breaking up with me, so I knew something had to be wrong.

"Oh, Eddie, your new best-friend that you think is cooler than me because he plays your nerdy game." Steve snapped back as Dustin turned around to snap back at him before I spoke. "Dustin, why do you need his friends' phone numbers?" I finally asked before he could reply back to Steve.

"Because something-something happened last night and we need to find him, we have no clue where he is." Dustin said. "Do-Do you maybe know where he'd be hiding?" Dustin asked as I bit my bottom lip looking at the floor. "I have a few ideas." I mumbled.

Dustin, Steve, Robin, Max, and I were now all outside of Reefer Rick's house. "This—This is where you think Eddie is?" Steve asked, corking a brow. "Yes, ok it's one of the only places tons of people don't know about Rick is like—like a legend almost he's so private, but he and Eddie and friends." I said as we made our way to the front door.

Steve continues obnoxiously knocking on the door as I looked over to see Max nodding her head in my direction. I walked over to her, tightly griping my flashlight as she shined her's over to a boat house behind his house. "Do you think he could be in there?" She asked to which I just shrugged my shoulders.
