Y/N POV

I settled back into the couch in my family's living room right as the doorbell rang. I let out a groan, throwing my head back and pretending not to hear it until a knock started on the door. "Steve can yo-" I started, yelling for my brother before he cut me off.

"Yeah, I got it—I'm way farther away from the door than you, but I got it." I grinned as he angrily walked past me to open the door. My focus went back to the TV as Steve talked to whoever was at our door before I saw someone walking around the corner into the living room.

"Hey sweetheart." Eddie greeted, as he walked around to the couch and picked up my legs before sitting down and dropping them into his lap. I looked at him smiling, "Hey Eds, I didn't know you were coming over." He shrugged, rubbing his hand over my leg as Steve walked back through the house, to his room.

"Figured I'd surprise you—maybe we can do something." He suggested. I just shrugged, "I have plans." He furrowed his eyebrows, "Like what?" I chuckled, "Absolutely nothing." He groaned.

"Come on Y/N/N don't be lame." He complained. "I'm not being lame—I want to spend a day, preferably with my boyfriend, doing absolutely nothing." He threw his head back, "But why?"

I cut my eyes over to look at him, "Eds, I love you, but come on, we both almost died in an alternate dimension less than 48 hours ago—is wanting to sit and do nothing really the craziest thing in the world."

He laughed, "I guess you're right." He mumbled, laying back into the couch, putting his hands behind his head as we laid there watching TV.

"Jesus, are you guys really just gonna lay there all day?" Steve asked as he plopped down beside Eddie. "Yup, it's what she wants." Steve nodded a little as the door bell rang. "Uh Ste-" I began before he cut me off again.

"Yea yea." He said as he got up before we all heard the shrill voice of Dustin ring out. "Steve!" He yelled as he practically skipped into the living room before sitting down beside Eddie.

"No—up I was sitting there." Steve said as he rounded the corner. Dustin groaned, scooting over before Steve plopped back down beside Eddie. "So. What uh—what are we doing today?" Dustin asked.

Eddie sighed, "Nothing—absolutely nothing to be exact." Dustin furrowed his eyebrows. "Wh-" He began before I cut him off, "Because Dustin, we are normal teenagers who have normal lives who do normal teenage shit—which includes doing absolutely nothing on the weekends, even after we almost died in an alternate dimension." I snapped before turning back to the TV.

A few more hours passed and three others had shown up. With El back in town she came along with Mike and Will showed up a little after to visit both Steve and I—he also wanted to meet Eddie even if he wouldn't outright admit it. "You guys hungry?" Eddie asked, now squished up against me as I cuddled into his side due to the overcrowding on the couch.

"I could eat." I shrugged as the others agreed. "Pizza?" Steve suggested. We all nodded in agreement before he went to the kitchen to order four pizzas. I laughed as a loud knock rang out, before Max and Lucas walked in.

"Hey losers, what are we doing?" Max asked, falling down in my dads recliner, "Nothing." Everyone said in unison causing me to smile. "We are actually about to eat pizza." I shrugged, "But yes, nothing or you know—normal teenage shit."

Steve popped back in the room, "I'm just gonna go pick up the pizza instead of getting it delivered plus Robin wants to come over and you know, do nothing." Everyone just went on, watching the TV as Steve left.

About 20 minutes later, Steve, Robin, and four pizzas came through the door. I quickly sat up, switching off the TV before practically running into the kitchen, Eddie not far behind me.

I grabbed a box from Robin and opened it to grab a slice of pepperoni pizza. "Uh you're welcome—asshole." Steve mumbled, shaking his head at me. "Thank you, Steven." I quipped back.

Dustin let out a loud laugh, "No way—is your name actually Steven." He scoffed, "My name is no- you know what I don't have to explain myself to you Henderson." He angrily commented, pulling out plates for everyone as we laughed at him.

"I really missed you guys." El commented from beside Mike. "Me too." Will commented before Eddie walked over, slinging an arm around him. "You still owe me that game of DND before you leave." He said.

"We better get working then—a quick one is four hours at least and we still need a campaign." He stressed. "Don't worry nerd we will." Eddie joked back. "Wouldn't you also be classified as a nerd?" I jokingly asked back as Eddie dropped his arm
from Will and draped it around me.

"I prefer freak—but whatever works." He shrugged, "Oh, so you're a freak?" I joked. "Wanna find out?" He joked back, winking down at me as he squeezed his arm tighter around me.

I hit Eddie's arm as Dustin began speaking "You guys are disgusting." He voiced as he cringed from beside Steve. "Shut up—you're just jealous." Eddie snapped back. "I am not, my girlfriend, no offense
Y/N, is loads smarter than yours." I jokingly scoffed as Steve turned around to begin handing plates of pizza to everyone.

"You're like a mom dude." Lucas joked as he got his plate from Steve. He scoffed, "Excuse me for wanting to make sure everyone eats." He shook his head, "He's definitely a mom." I whispered to Lucas as we all went back into the living room with our food.

"I think we should do nothing more often." Robin commented, to which we all nodded, faces stuffed with pizza as we sat squished against one another in the living room once again glued to the TV.

A/N: This could've been better written, but the kids and older teens of Hawkins deserve a day of doing absolutely nothing. Also I think I may of left out Erica—I'm sorry so we'll just pretend she's too cool for all of those nerds. Oh and this is not proofread at all so there's probably some mistakes.
