I awoke in a pitch black room. I tried to move my arms and legs, but they were tied to the chair that I was sitting on. I was still dazed from the gas, but I could hear somebody mumbling to themselves in the corner of the room.

"Who is there?" I managed to spit out.

"Noah," he coughed. "Where are we?"

"I think we are still on the house. Are you tied up, too?" I replied.

Instead of answering, he crawled over to me very slowly. As he began untying my arms and legs the intercom came on again.

"As you can see, you are not in your original rooms. All of you have been chosen to participate in this wonderful event tonight. We have allowed you to have one ally. You have probably met them already whether they are still alive at the moment," the familiar voice said.

I looked at Noah, and he was filled with fear and completely pale.

"I'm sure we're going to be al-," I was going to finish my sentence, but the intercom cut me off.

"I'm a few moments, the bars on the door will rise. When they do, you have one goal. Survive. Good luck!"

A/N: Sorry it was so short. The next chapter will be much longer! :)
