"Yo Boss." Ran greets Mikey who's entering the room. Mikey looks around "Why are you all together?"

"We were just looking at—

Sanzu pinches you, "Looking at the status of the gangs and Siciliano, Boss."

"Anyways since you're all assembled already, I've come to change your partners." Mikey adds.

"Already? Isn't it supposed to be every 3 years?" Kakucho asks confused.

"Well since Y/n has joined us, there are some changes to do. It might be obvious who you'll be paired with but I made this observation throughout the last couple of months."

"Sounds good boss." Kokonoi smiles.

"First pair, Takeomi and Sanzu"

"Brother!" Sanzu runs to hug his brother but Takeomi holds him back with his hand. You and Ran laugh at them quietly.

"Love you though" he sends a kiss to Koko, who rolls his eyes.

You and Ran turn to face one another.

"Why?" you ask Mikey.

"Don't you want to? You guys have been working together for a bit now it makes sense." Kokonoi asks you.

"That doesn't mean I like him in any way. He's terrible." You point at him with your thumb. Ran looks at you but he seems unfazed.

"That's what I've decided." Mikey responds. "Any other complaints?"

"I don't need a partner." Ran speaks out. "Can you guys stop acting like little kids." Rindou snaps suddenly.

Both you and Ran look at him confused.

"Just fuck each other and get it over with." He rolls his eyes, your hand moves on it's own and you slap him across the face.

You look at him with an angered expression. Ran's eyes widen at your sudden face.

Ran slowly let's go of your hand and you walk past him bumping into his shoulder 'accidentally'.
