Part 20: Back to reality

I gasped for air as I opened my eyes.

"Wow, wow. What's wrong?" I hear a voice next to me.

"Will?" I asked confused.

"Too much stranger things for you, Ria. Tomorrow the last two episodes of season 5" The boy who look like Will said.

"Noah?" I start to realize.

"Yeah?"

Me: What day is it?

Noah: first of July 2023. Are you sure that you are okay?

Me: 2023!?

Noah: yes. Ria are okay? Should I call Sadie?

Me: no...no. I'm fine.

Noah: You don't look fine. You look like you see a ghost or something.

Me: I think I just shift?

Noah: NO WAY. WHERE? HOW? WHEN?

Me: Hawkins 1986, I don't know, a year ago? Last time I was here it was 2022, we were watching season 4 part 2 and we cried together. And the other time I was there and there I'm here and oh my God I don't know what's happening. Am I talking too much again?

Noah: YOU WERE OUT OF THIS REALITY FOR A YEAR NOW? AND WE DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE? You understand that this is a really serious topic and I think we should talk about it more.

Me: No, he didn't confess.

Noah: w-what?

Me: Mike still didn't confess to Will.

Noah: Whyyy?

Me: my DR follows the show's storyline.

Noah: oh. At least, did you and Gareth are a thing?

Me:yea, I think.

Noah: oh my I'm so proud of you. But why you didn't stay there? You said that if you shift, you will never come back.

Me: I um kinda died.

Noah: I thought you scripted that you can't die.

Me: maybe I um you know, I thought I scripted twice and I delete the one. But in reality, I never scripted it twice.

" CALEBB, MILLIE , PRIAHH.YOU OWN ME 5. I WIN" The boy yelled and get out of the room.

I run after him. We end up in the living room, there we see Caleb, Priah, Finn, Sadie and Gaten.

Finn: wow, what's wrong?

Noah: they shift before the 3 years and they come back because they died.

Priah: Seriously Ria.

Me: oh, I'm really sorry that I destroy your bet.

"So you finally shifted?" Millie shows up with 8 cold chocolates.

Me: yes

Gaten: and you died before s5?

Me: yes.

Caleb: so why don't you join us? We watch s5.

Me: that's sounds great, thanks.

Sadie: so, what's your DR name again?

" Y/N Henderson" I smiled.

Gaten: so that make us twins?

Me: in another universe, yes.

Gaten: cool. Come on, take a seat.

Sadie: yea come on you won't believe what happen in this season.

I take a seat between Sadie and Finn.

" Happy to have the original back." Sadie whisper and kissed me.

" Miss ya too babe" I kissed back.

" Shhh, it's starting" Noah get our attention and we start to watch the season 5 with my friend group and my girlfriend.

I know someday I will come back to Hawkins.
Because I have a date to go. One day I will come back to you, Gareth. Till then, stay strong :).

"NO...no, it's a letter for another universe." I explained.

" Like that you sent to Ritchie and he never responded?" Finn asked.

"Shut up, something like that."  I whispered the last part.

" He had responded like 3 times. He is just busy or stupid enough like the actor who plays him" Millie laughed.

" Love you too, mills" Finn said sarcastic and we start a pillow fight after that.

Parallel universe (Hawkins, 1986)
3rd person

" Gareth, you have been paranoid. My sister is dead, she can't send you messages. " Dustin yelled.

" I know, man, but this is her handwriting. It's her fucking signature." The brown hair boy explains.

"Will? What are you saying?"

" I don't know, I need some rest" Will said and excuse himself from the Henderson's living room getting back to Y/N's bedroom.

Waiting room.
No time
3rd POV

" Did they get it okay? " The h/c girl asks

"No, not really. Dustin is in denial and Gareth is sure that you-she lives. You better come back soon, Ria. Things getting wild back there. Your friend - 001 - is getting closer and closer to kill us every day." The Byers boy said anxiously.

" All good will, I have everything under control. Just play along, he can't hurt you anyway. I just need to see a good friend of mine, he can help me." The person says, as they got closer to the red door, who have written in it "welcome to Derry" with white letters.

" You think your brother will help you?" Will asks

" Ritchie always know" the person answers

" Take care of yourself, Byers. I will come back soon" The person hugs the boy and then they disappear in the door.

Evanna's POV:
Seconds later
Derry Maine.

I gasped for air as I open my eyes.

"EVANNA, COME ON, WE'RE LATE. YOUR BOYFRIEND IS WAITING FOR US." Ritchie screamed from downstairs.

"SHUT UP. I'M AWAKE AND HIS NOT MY BOYFRIEND." I yelled back and I start to get ready for my last school day of 1989.

This book comes to an end. I want to thank all of you for your support. I really had fun reading the comments and the reading list's names. Also thank you so much for the votes and the reads. AND ONE BIG I LOVE YOU TO THE PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND THE DRIVAGO JOKE 😭. Hope you guys doing okay:) and I hope you find this end better than my other's story's or like it in general. I really had fun writing these books and I feel really happy because after 2 years I finally finish not one but TWO books who had a good plot and people read and liked them. See yaaa:))
